After an hour the boys huddled together by the store's entrance to discuss what they'd do the following day.
"I think we should stay here tomorrow too. It feels safer than the gas station and maybe we can wait here to be rescued by the military or something" said Kunimi.
He didn't have a problem with leaving but he didn't feel like walking anymore.
"I agree with Kunimi! We should stay! Sugawara-san and Daichi-san found food in the break room AND we have a bathroom! We have everything we need!"
Hinata was nervous about being outside again. He didn't want to take a chance of losing anyone else.
There were a few mumbles of agreement and side conversations so Daichi cleared his throat to get their attention.
"Whether we stay or not we should still go out to get more supplies. We're all filthy from the sewers so we definitely need new clothes. I'd also like to look for medicine, just for emergencies of course.."
The other boys still didn't know about Suga's illness, he wanted to keep it a secret to keep them from worrying.
Iwaizumi made his way to stand beside Daichi. Both were seen as the leaders of the group and the boys knew that the final decision would be up to them.
"I agree with Daichi, what we have here isn't enough if we want to survive through this thing. A few of us should go out and scavenge for supplies around the area."
Everyone shifted uncomfortably at the prospect. Fear coursed through them, making them hesitant.
"Hinata and I will be staying here" stated Kageyama, crossing his arms.
"Hey! You don't decide for me! But yeah... I'd rather not go out there again..." grumbled the orange haired boy.
"I-I'd rather stay too.." voiced Asahi.
"Wherever Asahi goes I go!" exclaimed Nishinoya, glaring at everyone to see if someone would dare to disagree.
Iwaizumi coughed, signaling everyone to be quiet. "I can go, Daichi would you mind..?"
Daichi nodded. "Iwaizumi and I will take care of it, but I'd prefer if someone else came too."
They two boys looked around, waiting to see if anyone would volunteer.
"I- I'll go" offered Yamaguchi, raising up a trembling hand.
"Thank you, I won't let anything bad happen to you while we're out." Daichi gave a reassuring glance to the freckled boy and then acknowledged the rest of the group. "The three of us will leave tomorrow morning, in the mean time let's eat."
The group went to the break room, eating stale sandwiches and drinking old protein shakes that had been in the fridge.
"Iwa-chan" Oikawa tugged Iwaizumi's shirt, directing him to the corner of the room.
"What is it Trashykawa?" asked the brown haired boy, narrowing his eyes.
"I don't want you to go! Please stay with me!" Oikawa pouted, pleading with his eyes for his friend to listen.
Iwaizumi sighed and leaned against the wall. "Daichi and Yamaguchi wouldn't make it by themselves. It's safer for three of us to go. And besides, I want to go. I'd rather do something to help us than wait around to be saved."
He was going to leave it at that until he saw that Oikawa was crying.
"Hey.. hey it's okay." He rubbed circles on his friend's back, trying to calm him down.
