Oikawa awoke to find himself on a couch.

Candle light revealed bordered up windows and shackled doors. Shadows cascaded on the walls, winds and thunder from outside echoing to create a haunted feel.

Oikawa groaned and moved to get up, his knee throbbing as he did so.

A thumping sound from upstairs incapacitated him from moving further. Fear coursed through his veins. His breathing quickened and goosebumps raced down his skin.

"H- Hello..?"

Oikawa gingerly went towards the direction of the noise, each step igniting more terror. With trembling movements, he arrived at the top of a staircase.

Oikawa turned, peeking his head around a corner and flinched back in surprise. He had been met with someone's face. A playful smirk and hazel eyes. It was the black haired figure.

"Oya oya? You're awake?"

Oikawa was too startled to respond. He wrapped trembling arms around himself as a form of defense. He felt nervous and wary. Who was this stranger?

The unknown boy continued to grin but backed away, keeping a respectable distance from Oikawa.

This slightly relaxed Oikawa. He felt appreciative that the stranger had respected his space. Oikawa took the opportunity to take a closer look at the boy.

He wore a tattered black jacket with jeans. Blood was smeared on his clothing. Flimsy rope rested around his neck with body parts hanging from it, fingers and ears. Oikawa shuddered, was the stranger some sort of serial killer or psycho?

"Who are you?" Oikawa asked, raising an eyebrow and tilting his head.

"I'll answer that in a moment.. Wait right here, I'll be right back!" And with that the stranger left, rushing into a room.

Oikawa considered running away and escaping the house. But what if the stranger were to get mad and hurt him for disobeying? Better to stay and wait he figured.

A few moments later the black haired stranger returned, this time accompanied by another boy who also had bloodied clothes and body parts on. He had spiky white hair with black streaks. His golden eyes seemed sad and lost.

Oikawa then realized that the black haired boy also had lifeless eyes. Even though he was smiling, his hazel orbs had no light in them, they looked hopeless.

"Sorry for that, I wanted my friend here to meet you" grinned the black haired stranger. "My name's Kuroo" he then gestured to his friend, "and he's Bokuto."

Bokuto nodded at the introduction but kept his gaze to the floor. Despite his tall height, he seemed small, his shoulders sagged and he had an air of defeat. His white hair drooped, strands of it laying gently on his forehead.

"I- I'm Oikawa Tōru, it was nice meeting you both, but I have to l- leave." Oikawa was scared of upsetting the strangers but his worry for Iwa-chan overpowered his fear. He needed to go and see if his friend was okay.

"You can't leave" frowned Kuroo.

"W- What the fuck, why??"

Kuroo sighed and leaned his head back against the wall. A pained expression residing on his face. "We're surrounded by zombies. It'd be suicide trying to leave the house."

Oikawa's lip began to tremble. He was on the brink of crying. "But I have to get out of here!! There's someone I need to go back to!!"

Bokuto flinched at Oikawa's raised voice whilst Kuroo glared at the brunette.
