A/N PROBABLY ONLY ONE MORE CHAPTER OR SO..  *NOT PROOF READ*

The end of the week has approached and it's time to head back home, much to Ryder and I's disappointment. We literally just witnessed my mother and Josh making out.. It was disturbing, very, very disturbing. I think I actually puked a little.

Ryder and I didn't want to ride with my mom and neither did Liam, so we worked out my mom rode in Josh's car, while Liam and his bimbo drove my mom's and I took mine back home. And of course, Ryder's parents took their car.

"Princess, are you coming or what?" Ryder was now carrying our bag; oh wait correction, dragging them. Yes, dragging as in they're on the ground and he's pulling. "Ryder!" I scolded. "What?" He asked innocently and jumping slightly at my sudden out burst.

"Pick up the bags! Don't drag them they'll-" I was cut off by a slitting noise. I sighed and finished my sentence "rip." My clothes were littered on the ground, as was some of Ryder's. "Just throw them in the car." Ryder suggested and I scoffed.

"What?" He asked innocently. "It's a good idea!" He added on to defend himself. I scoffed again. "You're stupid." I mumbled and he threw a hand over his heart dramatically. "Am not." He protested in a high-pitched squeaky voice.

I winced at the noise and patted his cheek, "sure you're not, baby." I cooed and he smirked. "I like when you call me baby." I was now pressed against the car. Oh goodie, how did this happen? He's good. "Good to know, now I'll never call you that again."

His smirk fell and he started whining. "No, call me baby again!" I just shrugged in response, ducked under his arms and walked over to my clothes that littered a lot of the driveway. Sighing and squatted and started to grab handfuls of clothes.

And because I'm just soo athletic and on top of my game, I resulted in losing balance and falling on my butt. I huffed and just sat there. I was way too lazy for this. Ryder walked passed me and started laughing.

I scoffed again. He would think this is funny. He was now bent over holding his stomach in as he laughed his booty off; some booty that is as well. I want that boot- "How did you manage that one, princess?" Ryder cut off my dirty thoughts and I just huffed.

"Some boyfriend you are, baby." I replied in mock as I called him 'baby'. He just shrugged, grabbed clothes and threw them in the backseat of the car. I rolled my eyes and crawled, dragging the clothing will me.

Ryder laughed at me. "You really are lazy aren't you?" I turned around and glared at him as he scooped up more clothes in his giant hands. He obvious finished throwing the clothes in the back, as I was still crawling with mine.

He picked them up from in front of me and I just shrugged whilst sitting up straight. He finished and there were no more clothes on the driveway. "Come on, flower." Ryder extended his hand and I gratefully took it.

While we were walking to my car I was wondering how much I really trusted Ryder, but that was an easy answer. A lot. So when we approached my car and I stood by the passenger seat, I sighed. "Here." I mumbled while throwing the keys up at him.

And with my wonderful aim, I ended up hitting him in the face with the keys. "Oops!" I ran over to him and looked at his eyebrow where there was a scratch from the keys. "I am so sorry!" I rushed out and he glared at me.

I started laughing. Why you ask? Well, because one gets hurt, my body doesn't know how to respond so I laugh. He glared harder. "It's not funny, I'm sorry." He narrowed his eyes at me and I pecked his lips. "I'm sorry."

He stuck his nose in the air and folded his arms. "So stubborn." I muttered and he had to choke back I smile. Yeah, I saw his lips tug up; he ain't fooling no one! "Baby." I cooed out and his lips did the same thing. I sighed.

"Do you wanna drive my freaking car or not?" I rose an eyebrow slightly annoyed and his eyes sparkled with excitement like a little kid buying his first toy with his own money. It was adorable.

"Do I ever!" He replied, picked up the keys off the ground and ran to the drivers seat. I rolled my eyes and sighed.. What have I done?

"Ryder, slow down!" I yelled over the purr of my beautiful engine. He just laughed and I smiled at him. He looked the happiest he's been in a while. He cut off a car and laughed again. I grabbed onto the door handle and smiled nevertheless.

This was exhilarating! I never felt more alive. I looked over at Ryder and he looked at me. I smiled a big toothy smile at him, which he returned. You'd think I'd be terrified after what happened, but I'm not. I feel young again.

He grabbed my hand in his free one and slowed down a little. He brought my hand up to his lips and placed a kiss on them. "Go on a date with me tonight." He mumbled against my hand. I smiled widely at him and nodded, "okay." I whispered.

"Okay." He whispered back and I gasped. "You can't copy the fault in the stars!" I had my eyes wide in fake horror. He laughed at my face and whispered, "perhaps okay will be our always." I gawked at him.

"You actually watched The Fault in Our Stars?!" I yelled at him and he smiled bigger while shrugging. "Maybe." I gawked more at him. "We're watching it!" I demanded and he laughed. He kissed my hand again, then rested them on the console in between us.

"I'd do anything for you, princess." He whispered and I smiled at him. He had a smile playing on his lips too. "I hope you don't mind me drooling over Ansel Elgort then; or maybe Nat Wolff. Or both, yeah both!" I stated and staring off dreamily.

"Do that, and I promise I'll stash you in my closet for a week." He growled and I knew he would. "What if I need to pee!" I widened my eyes in fear. He shrugged. "You don't."

"For a whole week?!" I raised my eyebrows at him. "I don't know piss yourself or something." That earned a slap on his arm. "Ouch, woman, chill!" He yelled and I shrugged. "You earned it." I muttered.

He glared at me for a few seconds, before he focused his eyes back on the road.

We arrived home shortly and Ryder helped me bring in all of my clothes that he practically dumped on the ground, which I meant add.

"Effy, get your lazy butt up and help me!" Ryder demanded. "But I don't wanna!" I whined as I slumped against my house wall. He rolled his eyes. "These are your clothes too, you know!" He protested. "Which you spilled!" I was now standing with my hands resting on my hips.

"Plus, I like that watch you pick up my clothes, I get perfect angels." I winked playfully and he laughed, a good-hearted laugh and I smiled. "Cute." He mumbled before composing his face back to normal. I glared at him. He glared back.

I stomped my foot and walked over to him, "Fine." I grumbled with clenched teeth. As I stormed passed him he smacked my bum. I turned around slowly with the darkest glare. He held his hands up in defense. "Sorry, sorry." He came up to me and wrapped his hands around my waist.

I rolled my eyes and threw my hands around his neck nevertheless. We had quite a height difference. I stood on his feet and rested my head on his chest as he nuzzled his face in my neck.

"Hey, lovebirds come in for some dinner!" My mom called from the doorway. I looked over Ryder's shoulder as he turned his head to look at my mother. "Actually, Mrs. Kn-" My mom glared at Ryder making him fix his words. "-Lilly, I was wondering if I could take Effy out for dinner."

She beamed at him, "like a date?! I groaned at my mother and rolled my eyes, hiding my face in Ryder's shirt. "Yes, ma'am." My mom squealed. "Of course!" And with that, she scurried back into the house to call Melissa, no doubt.

Ryder looked down at me and smiled, "shall we?" He held out his arm for me to take. "We shall." He smiled at me and I returned it as we walked back into my house.
