"we can't involve sadie" kairi spoke and i sighed.
"i don't want to involve her either okay? we probably have to though" i said and he looked over the plan he wrote.
"by the way, she probably hates me" i warned and he looked at me confused.
"what did you do bruh"
"i called her annoying" i answered and kairi sighed loudly.
"you were never good with girls" he chuckled and i gave him an offended look.
"she's gonna hate me, you know that. it's better if she hates me now. it won't hurt that much" i explained and kairi shook his head.
"sadie is not just letting you go, trust me. she's sadie, gosh she'll probably help you without a second thought after what'll happen in 5 days" kairi spoke and i nodded.
"where is she anyways? isn't she always with you at lunch?" i asked, looking through the lunchroom.
"nah, she's always with alejandro in the library" kairi spoke
"alejandro and her, y'know is there something?" i asked, a bit shy.
kairi smirked, tapping his fingers on the lunch table.
"nah, but maybe someone else will start talking to her when you don't. ya know she's really pretty, and the best friend of the soccer captain and co-captain" kairi still had a smug expression on his face.
"alejandro is co-captain?" i asked, completely ignoring the other things he said.
"yea, after you left coach made me captain and ale became co" he explained and i nodded.
i was the whole middle school soccer captain and kai was always co captain.
"i don't like alejandro" i honestly spoke and kairi tried to say something but was cut off by two chairs moving.
"hope you don't mind" alejandro spoke, sitting next to kairi, while sadie sat next to me.
she send me a shy smile, and i knew i fucked up.

i gave her a bright smile and she seemed a bit suprised by it.
"how are you?" she asked, giving me a toothy grin.
"i'm fine, actually really good. how are you?" i asked and she sat cross-legged on the chair, ready to tell me a whole story.
"so, last night i went to sleep while listening to harry styles' go to sleep story, and when i woke up my dog literally scratched my face like a cat! look" she spoke showing me a scratch next to her forehead and eyebrow.
"who's harry styles?" i asked and she opened her mouth in shock
"watermelon sugar hiiiiigh" she sang dragging the 'i'.
"sades, he was in jail for 2 years he doesn't know watermelon sugar" kairi said and sadie put her hand against her forehead.
"my fault sorry, the one direction guy" she spoke and i nodded
am i still confused? yes.
"wait you were 15 when you went to jail... how many bodies did you have?" alejandro asked me.
why would he ask that?
"two" i answered and alejandro opened his mouth in shock, and i saw sadie turning a bright red.
"dumbass bodies mean how many people you had sex with" kairi spoke and i chuckled
"oh, i thought how many people i killed" i laughed

and then sadie's muffled laughter was heard behind her hand.
"c'mon it was a bit funny" she spoke looking at alejandro and kairi
"they don't understand murder jokes, losers" sadie said looking at me
i chuckled and then looked at kairi who looked at me with a smirk.
i hate that guy.
"what?" i mouthed and he shook his head and mumbled a "nothing"
he knows exactly what i'm thinking though.
