it's been two days since the night mattia told me he killed his uncle. it's been pretty normal since, today would be the first day i would go back to school, i have no idea how, but mattia and kairi are pretty much back to normal so why not me?
i'm sitting on my chair, holding my concealer in my hand, and i wish i could just conceal my whole face, because i look- tired?
"sadie!" my mom yelled and i groaned in annoyance, everything seems so much more annoying. my whole patience is gone.
i made my way downstairs and my mom turned around.
"alejandro is picking you up in ten minutes"
"pardon?" i asked folding my arms infront of my chest.
"you are acting really weird, so i though i'd call alejandro and you'd maybe go back to normal" she spoke while cutting an apple.
"mom i love you, but i'm acting like always" i said rolling my eyes and going back upstairs.
i looked at my phone and saw the message from alejandro already.
ale i'm there in 10
i sighed and put some concealer under my eye and some mascara on my lashes.
i changed my clothes to a ripped jeans and a basic white shirt.
"bye" i lastly screamed, before closing the door and already seeing ale's car.
i put a fake smile on my lips and opened the door.
"hey, thanks for driving me to school"
"no problem, are you okay though? were you sick?" he asked and i held my breath.
"uh yea. yea, i was a bit sick" i lied and he nodded.
he drove to school and we made our way to the school door.
"i have maths now, i need to go that way, we see us at lunch" alejandro smiled his famous smile, and i nodded, making my way to my class.
i stopped infront of the door and breathed heavily before going inside.
i already heared noelle's voice, and now she looked at me and tapped next to her.
i sat next to her and she smiled.
"hey! where were you? kai is ignoring me and you weren't even in school"
"kai is ignoring you?" i asked furrowing my eyebrows
"yea, he is with mattia all the time and never meets up with me anymore" she complained and i sighed.
"have you talked to him?" she asked and i just shrugged.
"sadie can i talk to you" i heard mattia's voice and sighed a bit.
"sure" i said turning around and standing up, following mattia back outside.
"the principal just called me, and i'm hundred percent sure there are cops with him" he said a bit panicking.
"fuck" i muttered, starting to think.
"just don't show regret, because you didn't do anything"
"huh?"
am i trying to manipulate him? maybe.
"you never killed your uncle. you were at home, watching a movie with kairi" i said confidently and i could hear mattia swallow.
"i don't think i can lie" mattia said playing with his hands.
"creativity" i mumbled
"what?"
"don't self doubt. create your own creative story and stay with it. the worst enemy to creativity is self-doubt" i spoke and he nodded confidently and straightened his posture.
"so what did you do on august sixth?" i asked him and he sighed before speaking.
"i was at school, came home brought my aunt to the airport because she visited family in italy and came back home and called kai so we watched a movie and he could sleep over" he said, confidently
"perfect. don't look up while you talk, don't think too long and for the love of good don't talk too slow" i put my hands on his shoulders and he nodded.
"you got this" i said and nodded to the principal office.
"thank you sadie, i don't deserve you as a friend" he smiled lightly and i smiled back, before he entered the wooden door.
i joined the class back and sat on my seat next to noelle.
"are you okay?" noelle asked and just smiled
"okay sades, i don't wanna sound weird but some things feel so unusual" noelle mumbed and i sighed
"what seems unusal?" i asked
"that probably sounds weird, but you always wear your vans to school. like always" she pointed out looking at my coverse i wear.
"they got dirty, i threw them away" because they were full of blood.
"okay, and why are you so- stressed. you are sadie martin it feels unusal seeing you stressed" she said and i just shrugged, because i really couldn't deny it.
i saw mattia entering the classroom, i instantly shot him a questioning look and he just nodded, trying to hide his smile.
"why mattia? i don't understand, i never saw you that- whipped but not whipped at all for a guy" noelle asked
"i desire the things which will destroy me in the end"
