it's been a week since mattia and i talked.
it's been a week since i went to that stupid party.
and it's been a week since kairi treats mattia like his best friend again.
i feel ignored. i hate being ignored, maybe i noelle is right and i need attention. do i have adhd? no, stop self diagnosing that's disgusting.
"i don't have adhd, i just like to spend time with friends" i spoke to my dog and she barked softly.
"i know right! kairi hated mattia and suddenly they act like middle school best friends"
another bark.
"no! no lottie, i'm not gonna call mattia!" i argued with my dog.
"you okay sweetheart?" i heard my mom's confused voice from the doorframe.
"lottie said i should call a friend who killed his parents two years ago" i sighed and my mom thined her eyes.
"sadie, lottie is a dog" my mom spoke and i scoffed.
"not talking about the murder part?" i chuckled and my mom looked at me sympathetic.
"i don't think you should hang out with that guy anyways. he killed his parents and was in every newspaper two years ago. what if your future college finds out you're friends with a murder and doesn't let you in?" my mom questioned and i sighed softly.
"he's really nice, doesn't really show emotions, but it feels like he understands me" i said, playing with my dog.
"you're smart sadie, i trust you. a good mom would probably not allow you to hang out with him, but i'm not a good mom" my mom chuckled
"you're a good mom" i laughed
i heared my mom laugh softly, before going back to her room.
"should i call him?" i asked my dog and she gave me an annoyed look.
bark.
"what on the holy ducks from the sea, i'm not gonna show up infront of his house! that's creepy and weird lottie!"
bark.
"you're right, i'm weird, let's risk it all" i sighed, standing up and putting a zip up hoodie on top of my black tshirt, i already wore a black mom jeans, so i just put my white converse on and ran downstairs.
"bye mom, love you" i screamed, before closing the front door, and making my way to mattia's house.
is it creepy that i know where he lives? yes. i'm so creepy in general, gosh.
after 10 minutes of walking, i stood infront of his house and knocked.
a middle aged woman opened the door and looked at me confused.
"hello, i'm sadie martin. a friend of mattia" i smiled and she smiled back.
"nice to meet you, i'm his aunt. you can call me mala" she introduced herself.
"he's upstairs third room left" she spoke and i nodded softly.
i opened the door and saw mattia and kairi play xbox.
they both stopped laughing and looked at me confused.
help, this is so embarrasing.
"you" kairi spoke a bit angry.
oh, did i forget to mention that kairi and i got into an argument about him spending more time with mattia than i do?
"you" i said back and then turned my gaze to mattia who turned his gaze back to the xbox.
nice.
"what are you even doing here?" kairi asked and i rolled my eyes.
"i'm sorry, but mattia is my friend too. in fact i was the one who didn't judge him while you told me to not hang out with him!" i spoke and kairi was now the one who rolled his eyes.
"you stole alejandro from me too!" he argued and i scoffed.
"shut the fuck up" i scoffed and his eyes suddenly grew big.
"you swore" he spoke
"i'm 17"
"you never swear! look now you even change!" he argued and now stood up.
"mattia!" i suddenly said, and mattia looked at me, his eyes looking like puppy eyes.
"say something! no, kick him out!" i said and kairi opened his mouth to say something
"we'll see each other tomorrow kai" mattia said and i smiled while kairi looked at me angrily.
"you made him kick me out, he actually likes me more than you!"
"sure babe" i smiled brightly and he raised his middle finger before going out of the room.
"you want to play?" he asks me looking at his xbox.
"no actua-" i stopped talking and looked at a piece of paper on the floor.
"what is that?" i asked, but before i could pick it up, mattia did and put it into his pocket.
"nothing, just homework" he spoke
"that was kai's handwriting though" i spoke slowly, trying not to sound annoying.
"sadie" he warned me and i sighed.
"what are you even here for?"
okay, i definitely annoyed him.
"you always hang out with kairi now, so i thought-" i was cut off by him speaking.
"sadie, i'll have other friends too, you sound so possessive" mattia spoke and i sighed.
"i know mattia. we just got really close lately and-"
"we didn't get close, you annoyed me" he sighed, playing with the controller in his hand.
"i annoyed you?" i asked a bit hurt.
mattia sighed and looked up at me.
"i'll see you tomorrow at school" he spoke calmly and i nodded, turning around and leaving with way too many questions.
