Thursday evening ,I was sitted on my bed playing word search on my phone.It was actually a real nice game because it kept my mind occupied.I had a tendency of thinking about stuff.I then ended up overthinking and really wasn't the best stuff I was thinking about alot.I had too many fears for a normal human being,if you asked me.The only way I survived was doing something without thinking because if I thought about most stuff I would end up doing nothing.Honestly,everything seemed dangerous to me.Though most people got this vibe that I wasn't afraid of anything,and I was cool with that.
My coping mechanism was keeping my mind occupied at all times.This brought to me liking very wierd games and stuff.No wonder I wasn't a person of the people mindwise.
As I crossed of the last word from my  crossword  puzzle,I heard a knock on my door."It's open,"Ell came in carrying a book.
"Moe,I need help with my Math homework,"Ell  whinned.

"Well then it's good you came to the math wizard,"I said cherrily as she handed me her book,"so let's see what we got here."I helped her work out a few sums and let her do the rest.We had been going on for about 30 minutes and she was actually good.

"Hello,This is Moe speaking.I'm currently  unavailable  right now. Please leave a message."I chirped into my phone trying to be as serious as possible.
"Oh,hey.I was just asking if you've still got your hard drive.I've got some of my recipes that I need to store safely before my laptop gets fixed.Bye.Talk to you later."

"Wait!I'm on the phone."I said busrting into fits of  laughter.

"Baffoon!"Tasha barked onto the phone also laughing,"You know your brain capacity and that of a mouse isn't really different."

"Ouch,"I said in a mock hurt voice.

"Anyway you got the hard drive?"

"Nop.Mine got spoiled but I can ask around.I think I saw Jessy with one last week,"

"Who's  Jessy now?"

"Some guy I know,a friend,"I said laughing.

"Bruh,you know like a thousand guys.Anyway you do what you gotta do.Later,"

"Bye!"

So now I had to talk to Jessy.No offense but I did not like that idea that much.It had been a few weeks since we had talked and since he was a grade below me it made it our talking even less frequent.I searched for my phone on my bed but I could not find it.Under the pillow nothing.Under the bed,maybe it had fallen donw,still not there.Even on my desk it was not there."Ell!"I shouted bolting into her room.I found her sitted comfortably on the carpeted floor."I told you not to touch my phone without my permission!"I bellowed stretching my palm to her where she laid it.I marched back to my room and sat on my desk.
I scrolled through my contacts searching for the J's."Jariah....Jeb...Jeremy....Jessy.Jessy.
"Well here goes nothing. "I said to my phone.
After a few rings he picked up."Jessy hi,"I chirped into my phone."Moe,hi.Long time. How you doing."He answered sounding happy.
"I'm cool.Hope you are doing fine."
"I'm great.So,today you actually phoned me.Somethings's definitely up,"he laughed into the speaker.
"Yeah,I actually do need your help.Could you please lend me your hard drive this weekend.I'll give it back on Monday or in through the week."
"Yes,You sure are in luck cause I will be around your place on Saturday afternoon. Maybe I could drop it of then."
"Perfect.Even better.Thanks mahn.Later"
"Peace."

Jackpot.That was almost too easy.Tasha was just in luck but first I had to tell her she had limited time.I went directly to our chats a texted her hoping she was close to the phone.

M:Yoh!I got the drive:) .Saturday that is.I gotta give it back through the week if it takes too long.

T:Cool.Thanks babes;).

M:Sorry.Can't do:( .I'm preparing dinner today and yk mom won't allow me out.Maybe Saturday afternoon.

T:Is cool.Imma keep myself busy.See you tomorrow.Night.LOL.

I checked the time on my wall clock.It was already six meaning mom would be home from work in an hour or so.I had to prepare dinner as fast as I could.Mother did not like anyone beind tardy.I briskly walked to the kitchen as racked my brain trying to figure out what we would eat.I really did not feel like puting much effort in the food so I decided to go with a fast food.Spaghetti with minced meat and some vegetables.Fast easy and healthy,all at once.

Your a genius Moe.My inner voice said.

I put water in a pot,added salt and oil  put in the stove to boil while I prepared the meat.After the water boiled I added the spaghetti into it and let it boil as I continued making the meat.By the time the spaghetti was done I was also done with the meat.I left the vegetables to prepare them last since they cooked faster.In about ten minutes I was also done with the vegetables  and dinner was ready.It had been about an hour of me moving around the kitchen and finally I was done.My feet were killing me and I felt like my legs would fail any minute.
"Ell!Food's ready."No answer.
"Ell!Elodie!"I hollered.Still no answer.

Shit this kid.

I now had to go to her room.Upon opening the door I found her on her bed with the tablet watching the God Friended Me series with earphones plugged into her ears. No wonder she was not bugging when I called her.I rolled my eyea as I snatched the earphones from her ears."Come eat."
"I'll be there in a sec,"she said with pleading eyes."No,your food will get cold.It's already served you know."
She got off her bed and walked lazily to sit with me on her heels.She almost started eating when I gave her a stern look that spelled out go wash your hands young lady.She rolled  her eyes as she stood from her sit and headed to the sink.
Mom and dad also joined us and we all sat down to fill our stomachs after saying  The Grace.
