Through the whole week we had been having tests.Our school had a policy where after every topic we sit for a CAT to access whatever we had learned.Apparently this time we finished topics from different subjects at the same time.That meant the tests would also be at the same time.By Friday lunchbreak I was tired as hell.I just wanted to go home to my comfortable bed.
We sat at our table taking lunch.Noah had joined us and we were now eating.Then Lucas turned to me "Moe do you still have the numerous movies?".I thought about my laptop trying to remembering I had deleted some of them but some few had remained. "Yeah,but not that many.I actually need to get more.I'm looking for a place,"He smiled widely saying"It's cool.I'll come for the few," then went back to his food. We continued eating in silence when Noah spoke."I know a guy,"We all turned to him wondering what he was talking about."I know a guy who has,ok sells movies,"he said rolling his eyes and we all laughed."So can we go tomorrow?"I asked as I stuffed my face with samosas my mom had made."Yeah.
Carry your laptop or something,"he said pointing at me with his spoon."Ayeaye captain,"I saluted him and the table erupted in laughter.

My ringtone blasted in the room and I picked it looking at the caller ID."Yes captain,"I chirped into my phone."What the  heck Moe,"he said laughing and I was sure he rolled his eyes."What time do you want go?"he asked.I checked the time and it was eleven."Two is fine,I think,"I said as I walked to my closet to get what I would wear."Great,meet me at the park at 1:58pm on the dot,"he said in a stern voice."Yeah right,"I rolled my eyes as I sat back on my bed."Remember I'm the captain,"he said and hang up as I smiled at the phone screen."You are an idiot,"I murmured to myself.I went to have my lunch then got into the shower.I arrived at the park by 1:55 and plugged my headphones to my phone to listen to some music.My wristwatch read two on the dot and Noah had not yet come.I shifted on the swing to be more comfortable then I heard a sound from behind me that scared the breath out of me."Shit!What the...Noah!"I turned around to find the douchebag laughing hard almost losing balance."Jesus Christ Noah!What is wrong with you!?"I shrieked holding my chest beacuse I felt like my heart was out of place due to the thumping.

"Mmmhhh.That was fun.Now let's go,"he said taking my hand as he started walking.
"You almost ripped my heart out of my chest you stupid animal,"I snatched my hand from his and smacked the back of his head as he winced in pain.We walked along the road passing the shops then turned to another road for about five minutes.We came to the Quickmart supermarket but did not go in.We crossed the road and came to a shop that had stickers and posters of all kinds of movies on the walls outside.The latest movie posters were on the door.We got into a room that was illuminated with blue light.It was awsome.The walls in there also had movie posters and there were couches along the walls.On one wall was TV mounted on it.It was showing movie trailers.Noah walked to the desk that was at the front me on his heels.Behind the desk on a guy facing a laptop typing.

"Yoh Salim,"Noah said as the guy I assumed was Salim stood and gave him a brotherly hug."Noah my man,"he said smilling as he sat back down."Salim Moe,Moe Salim,"he turned to me gesturing to his friend and I stretched out my hand to him."Damn Noah  you never bring girls here.She must be something else,"he said greeting my hand smilling."What the fuck dude!"Noah glared at him and I turned to Noah with a raised brow but he dismissed it saying the guy was joking.I was still wondering how I'd never known the place when it was here all that time.Salim had all the tpye of movies and songs.I asked what he had and he said I should just name it.He gave us three different books two had labels that said SERIES  while the other MOVIES.We took the books and sat on one of the couches as Salim served other customers.

"So for how long have you known him,you guys look like it is from way back,"I said as I picked one of the books from the table.He sat beside me and placed the book to balance on each of our laps.He opened the first page then turned to me."It is four years now going to five next year,"he said then smiled."Woaw,that is long,"I said looking through the book to find something interesting.Come to think of it,I had never known any friend for that long.The longest was three or four years at most."Why are you woawing.You are like sixteen,"he paused,"Wait.You've not known anyone for more than five years have you?"he turned to me wide eyed."Well my family is people so,"I siad shrugging."No your family doesn't count,"he said laughing and boy did he have a beautiful laughter."Argh you make me sick,"I said as I turned to the next page.
"Your life is seriously boring,"he said looking at my mocking pity.I rolled my eyes as I looked back at the book."I'm taking these five,"I said pointing to the list I had written on my phone after checking the book.The first one was Sabrina,then The Good Place.The third was Swamp thing the fourth Rosewell New Mexico then the last was Good trouble."Good trouble has romance in it you know,"Noah said as we brought the books back to Salim."Buuuuttt,
the romance is not much.Just some very few  parts.I can handle that,"I told him with a smug look.

I gave Salim my phone as he read the list and gave me back my phone.He typed on his keyboard then looked back at me asif expecting something."What?"I asked confused."USB or something?Laptop?"he asked as looked back to his computer.I gave him my phone with its chord."You want me to put all that in your phone?"he asked looking shocked."No just shove it up my ass,"I muttered to myself rolling my eyes and Noah poked my arm with his elbow.
"Yes please,"he answered smiling before Salim could ask anymore questions and get unfriendly answers.We talked about movie stars as we waited.Noah pointed out all the movies he had watched from the wall.They were alot.I thought I was a film maniac but he beat me and there was no discussion about that.

After he was done we thanked him and left the shop.I shoved my phone into the back pocket of my jeans and noticed something was missing."Shit I left my phone chord,"I said face palming myself."Let me get it,"I turned to head back to the shop but felt someone hold my arm."I'll get it,"Noah said letting go of my arm as he went back into the shop.A few moments later he was back  with it and we headed home.

I walked to the door expecting him to follow me but he just stood there."You waiting for a bell or something,"I asked turning to him as I opened the door."Oh I really was not planning on getting in,"

"Get your ass in here,"

"You like it that much?"he smirked as came up the steps.I waited for him to get to the door step then rolled my eyes and closed the door on his face laughing.He opened the door and the look on his face only made the situation even funnier.I was laughing as I leaned on the kitchen door now holding my stomach when Ell came into the room."Maria who is he?"she asked using my first name that sounded wierd because I had not used it for a long time.
"Maria,ok.That's new,"Noah said then raised his brow. He folded his arms on his chest smirking."Ell this is stupid Noah,Noah my sister Ell,"I said smiling as I walked  to the fridge to get water."Don't worry I'm smart she is just jelous,"I heard Noah whisper to Ell and she giggled as they bumped their fists."Hey!"I smacked the back of his head and he just laughed.He turned to Ell,"See,jelous,".I hate both of them.I poured Noah some apple juice as we sat to watch TV.

It was about four when he decided to leave because he had some errands to run.He fist bumped Ell and and walked to the door.I opened it and he got out."See you tomorrow Maria,"he smirked and I closed the door on his face.A smile crept on my face for an unknown reason.

We all know the reason.

I scowled at my thoughts as I padded to my room and laid on my bed.I got my phone and laptop out as I wanted to copy the movies to the laptop and delete them from my phone.Then my phone buzzed with a text message from Tasha.

T💞:I heard you were with someone today🌚.

M:Good afternoon too.

T💞:I wanna know everything 🌚

M:I'm good how are you.

T💞:Bitch don't make me come to you🤺

M:😂Oh Lord save me😏

T💞:Imma tell the gang🙃

M:Ok Chill.🙄

T💞:That's mah gurl.So wats cookin🦦

Jesus.This is going to be long.

I face palmed myself as I sat comfortably knowing this talk was going to be long.
