SATURDAY

Shamalla,Quincy and I were sitted on the floor of Shamalla's living room playing a poka game of cards.I'd left home telling my mom I was going to a friends place to study for the upcoming test.Tasha was in the kitchen as always.Whatever she was preparing we don't know but we were always ready to eat.I mean she was an upcoming chef to be honest.Her cooking was amazing and her baking was over the top.

Mmmm.I can't wait to eat that.

"Moe.It's your turn,"Sham said snapping me out of my thoughts.We went on with the game for another twenty minutes until Tasha came in with a tray that was covered.As soon as she put it on the table we all surrounded the table to check out what our chef had prepared.There was a knock on the door as plates were put around for each of us to have their servings.Since I was closest to the door I went to open."Sham,were you expecting someone?"I asked as I reached the door knob."Nop,"she said popping the p.I opened the door and I was kind of surprised to see who was on the other side."Lucas?We didn't expect you."I said ushering him in.
"Well I was bored and I figured you guys were here.So why not?"he asked shrugging as he got in.I closed the door and followed him into the room and everyone was already sitted eating.I picked my plate and fork and sat on the empty couch.Tasha was sitted directly infront of me while the three were on the other couch. We ate and talked and laughed.Tasha and Lucas sang various songs us joining in some.Apparently Lucas had a nice voice. They even had a duet and damn.They were just perfect.Quincy even took a video and posted it.Later on Quincy left saying her mom needed her for some errands to run.We went on playing the card game for another hour.My phone then buzzed with a notification.I removed it from my pocket and checked.Aunt Jade had told me to remember I said I would be home by six.I checked the time.It was five thirty meaning I had to leave.
"GuysI have to go.Mom will be home in about thirty minutes,"I said picking my bag slinging it over my shoulder."Me too,"Tasha said as she stood.
"Argh,must you guys leave rynow.Ok"Sham whined as she sat on the floor.We all looked at Lucas expecting him to say the same thing but the guy was making himself comfortable on the floor.He then looked at us,"What?You guys leave if you are leaving.Not everyone has a curfew."Me and Tasha left leaving the two getting ready for a movie.

Sister Jane walked down the small flight of stairs as Pastor Ben went up to end the service.Today the service had been longer than normal due to the visitation of the Bishop from the city.As we finished saying The Grace I picked my bag and walked out of .I expected to find Noah outside waiting.When I didn't spot him I kind of felt disappointed.

You thought this was now your thing,him waiting for you everyday to walk you home.Get a grip on yourself woman.

At that I shifted my bag on my shoulder as I walked to the gate."So you-you were going to leave without m-me?"Noah appeared beside me with a hand on his chest feigning hurt."Duh.I didn't see you at your usual spot."I said as I laughed.

We all know you were hurt.You just won't show.

Shut up you stupid brain.I rolled my eyes.
Noah was looking good today if I could say.He was in a black t-shirt, jean shorts and nikes.We walked slowly in silence.It's
like we both didn't want to talk just enjoying the noise from our surrounding.
We had been walking for about twenty minutes when his phone buzzed in his pocket.He took it out then starred at it.He then turned to me,"Wanna meet up with some friends?"he asked looking at me with a convincing look."Dude you know I can't.Even if I asked my mom she would say no,"I said as I turned to look at him."I was trying?"he shrugged,"d-don't you like ever want to live a little.I don't maybe break some rules at times?B-be a wild child?"

"I mean you are sixteen turning seventeen i-in a few months.You've never been to a party nor a sleepover.Have you even ever gone shopping alone?"he asked with a horrified look on his face

I laughed."You get used to it with time."I said with a tone that demanded the discussion to end.We continued walking in silence.He still looked thoughtful but did not ask anymore questions.Then suddenly I felt something rough in my eye."Fuck!"I groaned putting a hand over it as I stood still.It was pretty obvious Noah had not noticed as he was still walking.He then noticed I wasn't by his side and turned.I smiled sheepishly pointing to my hand and as he walked closer."Something's got into my eye,"I mumbled as I tried to get it out but failed."Can I help?"he asked dryly knowing I would not allow him. "I'm cool.Just gimme a sec.Argh help me "I noticed I was only hurting myself so I gave up."Ok but with this distance I really won't be able to help you."He moved closer reducing the distance between us.He removed my hand from my face and checked my eye.He blew some air into it lightly then closed my eyelid swiping his finger on it and I tensed abit."You can now open them,"he said and I relaxed opening my eyes.I was shocked to find him still too close."You okay?"he asked with a concerned look on his face.I blinked a few times then nod my head.I noticed how close we were next to eact other and felt wierd."Woah broh.Thanks but the personal bubble,"I said drawing a circle in the air using my hand around me as he and I moved further from each other."Your welcome,"he rolled his eyes as he laughed shaking his head as if I'd said somethingout of this world.Then he looked at me smiling."What?"I asked turning to him.He shook his head as we made our way towards my house.
