I stood at the roadside as Tasha came out of her foor with a lollipop in her mouth."Dude who eats a lollipop this early?"I questioned as we began walking."You are the wierd one here by the way,"she said  pointing at me with the lollipop end.I rolled my eyes and laughed.Even after the three years of friendship I still wasn't able to understand one or two things about her.We then heard; someone shouting behind us and heard heavy  footsteps.We turned to look who it was finding Lucas running towards us."You guys walk pretty fast,"he said bending on his knee trying to catch his breath.He stood up and gave us both side hugs and not letting us go."So what is my twin and my younger sister upto this week?"he asked looking at us smilling widely.I raised my brow at him as he began to explain.

"Moe I'm older than you,Tasha we are the same age,"he offered smiling."Hold your horses broh,I'm no one's sister,"I said  as I adjusted the cap on my head and removed his hand from my shoulder.Tasha laughed while Lucas feigned hurt.I then burst out laughing at his reaction trying to say 'poor baby' in between and he flipped me the middle finger."Mmm,gladly,"I said in a low seductive voice and the both turned to look at me with horrified looks on their faces.
"Ya'll should see how you look,"I said as I walked ahead of them with a smug look on my face.We reached school sparing some ten minutes and Lucas hugged us goodbye saying he was going to meet some teacher.

We walked to our lockers to find Sham and Quincy leaning on them.They both were staring at some girl and boy who were standing too close to each other and seemed like they were flirting.They should just kiss already.I didn't bother to check who they were as I made Quincy lean onto another locker so I could open mine.
"Comeon guys leave the couple alone,"I said as I put some textbooks into my locker.
"Noah has a girlfriend?"Quincy asked surprised.As soon as I heard his name and girlfriend I shoot my head out of my locker."No,who told you!?"That's when I turned and looked closely at the couple.It was some girl who was in eleventh grade and.Noah.I was shocked.

And maybe a little bit hurt.Now the question is why are you hurt?Is it because he didn't tell you he had one or is it beacuse he has one?

"Ya'll leave the niggah alone.Where's the problem with him having a girlfriend?"I said as I slung my bag over my shoulder.
Just then Sham received a call and said she had to see a teacher."Don't be late for class,"
Tasha shouted as Sham ran down the hall.
"I mean we are friends so why didn't he tell us?"Quincy consistently asked that question and it kept irritating me even more."Ok Noah's  story ends now,"I said in a stern voice as we reached the corridor where Quincy was supposed to branch.She waved us goodbye and walked away.Tasha turned to me with a concerned look,"Are you fine?
Like okay with this whole Noah thing?"I turned to her faking my most confused look hoping she wouldn't notice."Why should I not be?"I asked laughing as we got into class."Oh so you are fine with him having some other girl,"she said as she sat infront of me and turned to face me at the back.
"Yeah.He can have whoever he wants.
Why would I even care? Why are you even asking me?It's not like I'm his guardian or anything,"I shrugged and laid my head on my locker and sighed,"now wake me up as soon as that grumpy man gets in.

It was now lunchbreak and we sat at our table eating what the lunch ladies called food.I swear those women knew nothing about cooking and they were just here for the money.Quincy was narrating how her mother had asked her to bring her girlfriend over during the weekend and how everything was wierd.I'd turned to get my bottle from my bag from some water but when I raised my head the sight before me only made have a lose of appetite.At the farthest table at the corner,Noah and the same girl sat beside each other his hand on her waist as she leaned on his shoulder.I got up from the table picking my bag."Guys I am so full.I'm off to the washrooms.
Anyone want to join?"A bunch of ew's and no's erupted as I laughed and was also relieved at the same time because I didn't want anyone following me.

I practically ran to the bathroom and shut myself in hoping no one was with me.After I confirmed I was alone I threw my bag to the floor."Fuck!"I cursed as I banged the door continuously.I felt rage and jealousy and hurt all at once and it wasn't a good combination.My heartbeat increased and I was getting out of breath.I felt like I was suffocating and tears were welling up in my eyes.I quickly reached for my bag to get my inhaler.I took two puffs and closed my eyes breathing in and out slowly.My breathing went back to normal but I was still angry.I felt like running to Molly and punching the life out of her.Even though I wasn't good at it,I'm sure I could pull off a few hits with a girl.I washed my face and looked at the mirror the girl infront of me staring."Why are you even angry?"I asked her."Shit this can't happen!"I realized what was happening to me.I sat on floor almost crying murmuring soothing words to myself so as to calm down.Then the bell rung pulling out of my world.That's when I heard  several noises outside the door.Some were shouting throwing curses and abusive words and some were actually calling my name."Shit,"I moved across the room to unlock the door only to be welcomed by very angry girls whom I let in.

I got out only to find my friends outside all looking worried.Tasha ran to me and hugged me,"My God we thought something had happened to you,"She said as she squeezed me almost breaking my bones."Something like what?Flushing myself or getting caught up in the tissue roll?"I said as I rolled my eyes making her let go of me as we laughed.I then turned to my side to see Noah texting on his phone.

He most probably is texting his girlfriend.

He looked up and saw me.He had a worried look on his face but it disappeared.I smiled at him and waved.What happened next had me at shock beacuse I wasn't prepared at all.He engulfed me in a hug but I stood in shock not knowing what to do.I had never hugged him before.I was tensed.Why was he hugging me."Shit Moe.D-don't make us worry like that ever a-again,"he said and I felt myself relaxing into him.I hugged him back with a smile on my face.It was comfortable hugging him.Then my phone decided to ruin the moment and buzzed with a message.We moved away from each other and I avoided his face as I looked at my phone.Lucas was asking where I was and Miss Sarah was in a sour mood."I have to go.I don't think your girlfriend would like this sight,"I said laughing nervously as I shoved my phone back into my pocket.Noah looked at me with  a confused look on his face."Girlfriend?"

"Yeah dude."

"I-i have one?"

"What do you mean you have one?You were with here like twenty or thirty minutes ago,"

"Okay.I'm pretty sure that w-wasn't me,"

"Are you kidding?"I said laughing but I was nothing close to happy.So we were now lying to each other."Wait.A-are you talking about Molly?"he asked raising his brow.
"Oh so that's her name,"

"Yeah and she's not my girlfriend.Never has been never will be,"

"Oh."

"Why would you say,think that?"

"I don't know.Maybe because you guys seemed extra close since today morning,"I mumbled  to myself looking at the ground because I know realized I sounded really stupid."Are you serious?"he asked."I don't know maybe.I have to go to class I'm getting late,"I walked past him but he grabbed my hand making me turn to look at him.He noticed we were too closè and took a step back."Ok look.She's not my girlfriend.She's just a friend.Maybe too clingy b-but just a friend."he said as he let go of my hand.
"Trust me,she wants more,"I said and we laughed."Oh this,"he gestured to himself,"Is reserved for someone else special,"he said then winked and I scrunched my face.My phone buzzed again.It was Lucas again saying Miss Sarah was asking about me. "I have to go now.Miss Sarah isn't  the most patient person,"I adjusted my bag on my shoulder."See you later,"We both turned and went our ways.I reached class and knocked as I got in."Maria,you are fashionably late for my class.You better have a good explanation,"I walked up to her  with a frown on my face."I'm sorry Miss Sarah.It was that time of the month.It caught me unware,"I said to her in a low voice."Ok you can have a sit,"I briskly walked to my sit shooting smiles to my friends.That was close."One day she'll just chase you out,"Tasha said rolling her eyes as I slid into my chair.
