Patton's POV

Where the flowers lie,

Is where the babies cry.

Ugh, no use. I can't write that so I write a letter.

Dear Thomas,

How's life going for you. I don't understand why I'm sending a letter to you but since I got bored, I decided to.,,,

Thomas isn't going to care. Maybe Virgil.

Dear Virgil,

I hope you're going fine. Don't mind this letter, I'm just a little lonely....

Virgil's busy. I doubt he'd read something like that. Okay. Roman.

Dear Roman,

Although it has been barely an hour since we chat, I still have the need to converserse with you in letter form. Okay, call me Logan if you want but honestly I just needed someone. Anyways reply as fast as you can.

I send it. Doubt he'd care so I'll write one to Logan? What if he doesn't care?

Dear Logan,

I have been struggling to write stuff as, I've been afraid no one is going to reply. So I am hoping you'll reply since you read letters right. Anyways please do not just my handwriting, I'm just trying to communicate through writing. Virgil has been busy recently, so has Roman. Janus and Remus don't care. So that leads to you. I wish they weren't always busy that way we can have family nights like usual but people get busy or make excuses. I don't want to make it too long so, I hope this reaches you.

I send it. I sigh and wait. A few hours later I get a reply from Logan.

Dear Patton,

I appreciate that you've contacted me through a letter. Why wouldn't anyone contact you? Doesn't that seem somewhat strange? Right now, I'm concentrating on researching on writers that write letters for desperation before they pass. Are you okay? Is this out of desperation? Apologies. I'm just worried. Writers can write letters as a cry for help before they die. Lack of attention could be one of the deaths. Wait. No one is paying attention to you. Are you feeling weaker than usual? Don't worry I'm coming straight away!

Oh.... I should write a reply. I grab paper and a pen and write.

Dear Logan,

That's a possible reaoon, but we can never be too sure. Recently, I've been struggling to get up and down from places, but it's getting worse. The letters I write are taking more energy than usual. So maybe your theory is correct. You can come over if you want. The door is unlocked. See you soon.

I send it then sit on my bed holding my stomach. I hear Logan rush to my room pushing Roman out of his way. I hear them talk.

"WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU LOGAN?" Roman yells.

"Patton." Logan says before bursting into my room and shuts the door on Roman.

He rushes up to me and strokes my hair.

I shake.

"Oh. yeah that's lack of attention." Logan records as stroking my hair.

I purr.

"Kitty" Logan says.

I giggle and hair turns slightly blue. I open my mouth to speak but can't. I stare and pick up paper and pen I write.
