Chapter 12: The search for the fourth doll

   "Mayu! Thank goodness you came to the kitchen!" exclaimed Tamayo as she pulled out an empty box of cereal similar to the one she found earlier. "I found another box of Kellogg's cereal. That thing hides a message saying: You're in a world of pain!"

"What does this message says?" Mayu asked.

"It means that we're Jiki Fusako's enemies!"

"Yeah! That box never showed any stuff!" said Kira.

"Where's the kokeshi doll?" Tamayo continued.

"Right here!"

Then, Marina went to the same kitchen and met up with her friends after escaping from Jiki Fusako. "Girls, there you are!" she said.

"Marina! The box of cereal has a message!" Mayu remarked.

"Of course it is!" Jiki Fusako reappeared again and started to chase the china doll and her friends, who are leaving Mr. Amano's house after finding clues. Only to be hit by the closed door as her nose fell from her body, revealing that she is made of porcelain. With her nose broken in pieces, she growled in anger as she snapped her fingers to magically repair the pieces of the nose and herself, completely.

Later, Mayu and her friends returned to Toyama Park. They created a map which showed all the places that they found the kokeshi dolls earlier. "We found the first doll in Shinjuku Gyo-en, the second one in this park and the third one in Mr. Amano's house." Mayu stated.

"Is that all?" Kira asked.

"Kira, It's not that really important. We have to find the other kokeshi dolls in the places of tokyo." Marina stated.

"Where we'll find them? There are many parks, residences in the city." said Hisa.

"I know. We'll go to Egotanomori Park."

"Where? In the village of the boneheads?" Kira continued.

"No, silly!" Marina reassured as she pointed to the Nakano symbol. "In Nakano City. Where the fourth Kokeshi doll is there. And later, we'll go to Yoyogi Park, in Shibuya, where the fifth Kokeshi doll stood, Yokoamicho Park, where the sixth doll is there, Okuma Garden, where the seventh and eight are there and Tetsugaku-do Park, where the ninth and tenth are there. We'll form those dolls and find Fusako in....uh...Hachioji, where she is lost in a forest."

"What kind of forest?" Mayu asked.

"Komine Tunnel, in Shibuya Highway."

"Exactly, Shibuya Highway." claimed Azumi as Hisa and Tamayo nodded in agreement.

"What?! Hachioji is too far!"

"I know! But, we'll go in there after we find the dolls. Let's go to Nakano City."

"I have no idea what she's talking about. But, We'll find it." said Tamayo.

The girls, except for Kira, has left the park in order to find the fourth kokeshi doll. Kira crossed her arms and waited for a moment as she saw Jiki Fusako peeking. The cool girl began to redeem herself as she started to find her friends, realizing that they would leaving her behind. And then, Jiki Fusako watched the girls on their way to the Takadanobaba Station.

"Hmm, after they'll find the fourth doll, I'll show them a surprise." She stated, evilly.

Thirty-eight minutes later, Mayu and her friends came to Nakano City. They walked in the streets as they looked for the fourth clue. They ran faster to avoid bumping people and arrived in Egotanomori Park.

"There it is, girls. Egotanomori Park." Marina stated. "Let's find our clue."

One moment later, the girls walked in the park to look for the fourth doll. They saw many fallen leaves as they kept walking and wondered where something terrible would happen to them.

"Stay cool, Kira. Stay cool." Kira said to herself.

"Mayu, have you ever saw those trees?"

"I do. I saw many trees when I came to a local park or something." said Mayu.

"Well, Marina, how are we going to find the fourth kokeshi doll?" Hisa asked.

"We'll find a tree, girl. Or something." Marina continued as she has led her friends to follow her. The girls walked, walked as they looked for some clues in the park. They pretended to be normal people as they greeted two women before they went to the Egotanomori Forest, "An forest here in Egotanomori park."

"Do you think that a forest is where the fourth kokeshi doll is here?" Kira asked.

"C'mon! Let's get that doll!"

"Allright! On it!" Tamayo gave her a two thumbs up.

Then, the girls looked at some trees where the doll could be hiding. Azumi saw a tree with a window and looked around, only to be almost attacked by a squirrel living there. Kira and Hisa walked and saw some footprints on the ground, where they lead down to something mysterious. The blonde pulled out her magnifying glass and followed the footprints where they saw a tree with a nest.

"A tree with a nest?" Kira asked confusedly.

"Kira, look at that!" Hisa pointed to a bluebird hatchling on the ground. "Poor thing, let me put you back to your mom," She affectionately cuddled it as she has put it back to the nest, much to the bluebird mother's joy.

Mayu, along with Azumi, looked for the doll until they saw that Jiki Fusako came here and has put the kokeshi doll in a tree similar to the other trees.
