Chapter 2

ANJALI'S POV:

I came back from college early today cuz mom called me and asked me too. I parked the car outside and entered the house. Dad was at work and Anu was in school. She was in her senior year of High School. Mom was home alone. I wonder why she called me home early.

"Hey Mom...whats up" I said.

"Anjali teri koi class toh nahi miss hui" she asked

I missed my lunch so that was ok.

"No mom...I missed lunch" I replied. "Now make me some good food"

"No food today..I mean I wont make it" she said. I was shocked

"Kyun" I asked

"Anjali...skyview mall mein coffe shop mein ja..tikh he"

"Kyun..maa jab mera maan hota he jaane ka tab toh aap nahi bhejthi aur aab apni marji se bhej rahi hein" i questioned. Why was she sending me to the coffee shop.

"Anjali...yeh dekh..." she said handing me a photo. It was a pic of a boy. OH NO!!! I took a quick glance at the photo and put it down on the counter.

"Maa yeh kon he aab?" I asked

"Mene teri aur iski coffe shop mein date fix karai he" she said.

"What ugh mom..is liye jaldi bulaya tha?" I said

"Haan. Aab ja jaldi se tayar ho ja.." she looked at the clock. "Anjali jaldi u have a date in an hour."

"Ugh mom... Aap ke liye ja rahi hun par no promises ok" I said.

"ok jaa...woh bhot sundar he" she teased

"MOMMMM!!!!!!! Kitni baar kahun--" I started to say but she cut me off.

"ke larke sundar nahi handsome hote hai" she finished for me.

"yea" I said " Like zayn malik"

Then I went upstairs to get ready. I wore a black blouse with white pants. I went and saw that Anu was there.

"Anu ur coming to mall with me..gurry go get ready" I said

Mom started to interupt but Anu already was gone to get ready. YAY...I could use some sister time.

SHEHRY'S POV:

I woke up early today and went to college. I came back around 3 and called Hussain so he could meet me outside home. Then we headed to the mall.

"Aur bhi darling...u look gorgeous" I said to Hussain.

"Oh thank you" he said in his horrible girl voice.

"Yo I swear someday I will dump you for that deep voice of yours." I teased

"Well then" he said again in that annoying voice.

Time passed by and we joked. Finally we reached the mall. We entered the building.

"Bhai lets go to the food court." Hussain said pointing towards it.

We started walking there when my phone rang. Then this girl bumped into me.

ANJALI'S POV:

We were at the mall heading for the coffee shop. We were alittle early so I told Anu lets make a stop at the H&M. The line for the food court was blocking the entrance. I continued walking when I bumped into this guy. He didnt look back so I kept walking. We managed to push people and entered H&M. After a while Mom called and told me to go to the coffee shop. Ugh..

"Lets go Anu" I said

We exited H&M and headed for the coffee shop. OH NO. We would have to pass through the food court line. I fiddled in my purse looking for the photo of the guy so I could recognize him.
