In Dono Ki Kahani...

Chapter 6

ANJALI'S POV:

"Anu jaldi kar passport nikal or ticket bhi" I said rushing to get out of the car and pulling out our luggage. I closed the trunk of the car. We were soo late!!! Mom and Dad came out of the car.

"Beta dhyaan se jaana" Mom said kissing Anu. I went over to dad and hugged him. He kissed my forehead. Then we switched. I looked at Mom.

"Be careful honey" she said and kissed my forehead also and hugged me tight. She felt so possesive.

"Or sun..apni bhen kya dhyaan rakhna. Ponch the hi phone karne tikh he" Dad said to me.

I smiled back.

"Aur aab toh teri umar bhi ho gayi he. " Mom said a loud. Then she came near my ear and whispered. "Koi larka phasa lena" she teased

"MOM!!!!!" I said pouting.

They all laughed at me.

"Acha chal Anu is se phele ke hum late ho jaye" I said.

We got a hold og our bags and waved bye to Mom and Dad. This was the start to India. We went inside and got on line for the check in. It was a long line. We waited and waited. I had earbuds in my ears so time passed by quick. Finally we were two away. I put my ear buds away. There was one family that was taking so long so I decided to see what was going on. I skipped ahead and heard that the air hostress was being very impolite(like they always are).

I walked up to the old couple and saw that they had a little child with them. I smiled at her and then looked at the couple. They seemed indian. The women was tensed and kept on searching her bag for papers and the man seemed to look on while the child just stood there.

"Aunty kya hua" I said placing my hand on her shoulder.

"Beta plz meri maadat kardo..yeh pta nahi kya kehri jaa rahi he" she said motioning to the worker "aur mujhe kuch samajh nahi aa raha" she said

"Ek minute Aunty koi baat nahi. Mein dekh thi hun" I said

"Ma'am she needs to provide her passport and ticket" she said

"Aunty laye mujhe do" I said putting my hands out for her wallet. She obeyed and gave me it. I handed all three passports to her and waited for her to recognize the faces.

"Tickets please" she said

I searched her bag for them and the handed the mean b word the tickets. She stamoed them and gave the boarding passes and checked in the luggage.

"That would've happened way earlier if u learned not to scream: I murmered just loud enough for hr to hear. Then I helped the aunty walk back.

"Shukriya beta" she said and gave me a kiss on my forehead. The uncle placed his hand on my forehead. I smiled at the little girl.

"And what is ur name" I asked.

"Maha" she replied....

"Yeh meri beti hai..Mere dono beta vese toh yeh kam kar lete par unki last minute par ticket cancel hogi" she explained. "Aur mene unko college hi bhej diye"

"Koi baat nahi Aunty. Apni beti samajh ke isse mera farz manie" I said. " Actually last minute par mere mami papa ke bhi ticket cancel ho gayi. Pta nahi kya chal raha he" I said.

She smiled.

"Ok Aunty meri bhen wait kar rahi" I said motioning towards Anu. She smiled and i waved bye and left.

"OHO Ms superwoman" Anu said

"Thnx" I said proud. That lady felt like Mom for some reason. What significance did she have in my life???

After we were also done with our checking, we went to our gate number. I sat down and checked my phone for the plane arrival time. There was a 30 minute delay.

"Chalo atleast late toh nahi hoyenge" I said. Atleast there was one advantage of the delay. I glanced around and saw that the family that I helped was sitting in front of me. I smiled. I motioned for Maha to come here. She shyly came her parents pushing her.

"Hi" I said. Then Anu leaned over.

"Hey litle girl...Are'nt u a cute angel" she said

She seemed shy. She ran back to her parents. I looked at my phone again when someone came and sat beside me.

"Naam kya hai Beta" the Aunty asked.

"Anjali" I said smiling.

"Itna pyaara naam" she said. Then an announcement came on.

"Aunty flight aagayi chalein?" I said.

She nodded and went to gather her purse. I followed the Aunty incase she had any trouble. This time she did it smoothly. We boarded the plane and parted heading to our own seats.

*6 hrs into flight*

I was so tired off sitting. I got up and headed to he bathroom. My eyes were forcing themselves to shut. As I approached the bathroom I heard a child wining from the other side. I went there and saw that it was maha who was wining.

"Kya hua Maha" I asked approaching them.

"Mujhe Bathroom jaana he par mama so rahi hein" she said.

"Aao mein leja thi hun" I said grabbing her hand.

Aunty smiled and I walked to the BR. I let Maha go firt and then dropped her off at her seat and then used the restroom and went back to Anu. She was dazed off like a donkey.

A few more hours till India.

*flight finished*

We all landed and exited the plane. I didnt come across Aunty this time. We went to baggage claim. I took off our luggage. Surprisingly it came quickly. We were about to leave when I saw Aunty struggling. I walked up to her and took off all their luggage. She thanked me once again giving me a hug and we parted...forever.

We went thru some security check and then we were done. I stepped outside the airport and took in the fresh smell of India. Ooh!!!! Then Anu screamed. I turned and looked and saw my cuzins. AAAAAHHHHHHHHHH. They came running up. It was only tow of them. Ayaat and Millie.

"AYAAT!!!!!!" I screamed and hugged her.

Then she hugged Anu. I hugged Millie. "Oho Millie. Itni baari ho gayi" I said. She was shy.

"Aur dekho India walon....American log aagaye India" Ayaat teased.

Then a car came with Gaurav Bhai.

"Bhaiiiii" Me and Anu screamed. AAAAHHHHHHH....

We got into the car and headed home.

"Aur...Bata na kese mili...jiju se" I teased Ayaat.

"Chal" she said blushing.

"OHOOOOOO. Ayaat ji sharma gayi..." we teased her.

"Meri chod tu bta tera koi he ya nahi" Ayaat said.

"Yeh iska koi ho hi nahi sakta" Gaurav Bhai teased.

"Oh shut up...mera he.." I said annoyed that they thought I couldnt have a bf.

"Naam???"

I dont know what got into me.

"Shehry' I blurted.

Anu almost choked. She eyed me/ I ignored

"Shehry...waaaaa" Ayaat teased.

Anyways its not like they know him.

"Chal ghar chalke tyaar ho jana....kal raat ko meri engagment he" ayaat said.

"OHo itni be sabri" I teased her.

She just blushed and we drove on.
