6. Finally learning

For the next week I just could not sleep, could not work. After school instead of going home to do my schoolwork I always went to Hailee's.

I didn't however think about the consequences. I was called into principal Martin's office and was on my way there now. 

"Y/N, good morning, how are you?"

" I'm okay I guess, why? "

"I'm not sure if you've noticed but..some of your grades are slipping Y/N. You were one of our best students but now you're not doing work in school or at home, what's going on?"

" Oh..I just...give me time I'll do it, I can fix it. ".

"It's too much Y/N, for anyone. Look I've arranged for some help, you'll now have be tutored by Miss Jenner, starting from today".

"But it's Friday can I start on Monday? Please."

He paused, thinking. "I'm sorry Y/N you know it's important, just try it today. Please".

"Fine okay, when is it?"

" Well there isn't much time today so yourself and miss Jenner can arrange timings outside of school that suit you both. "

"Okay fine."

I knocked on Miss Jenner's door and entered her class. She already knew how she was going to tutor me so we sat down to talk about timings. 

"Hmm what about like a diner?"

" Maybe, but they're always too loud. "

"A library?"

" No we'd be too loud ", I say making her laugh.

"How about my place?"

I mildly smirked at her making her chuckle. "Yeah that could work".

I entered her apartment, like her car it seemed warm and welcoming. We sat at a little round table and she started teaching me stuff I didn't understand. And she was actually a great teacher, I didn't even notice that a couple of hours had gone by. It was getting late and I was very tired and began yawning, miss Jenner noticed and said we could stop now. I stood up and stretched, making my shirt rise. I saw her blushing and laughed to myself.

"What's so funny Y/N?"

"Nothing...", I laughed again, I'm not sure why then slumped onto her couch, staring at her. 

"Well you need to get some food in you, what do you want to eat?"

You. Oh what the fuck was happening. "Umm anything really, or how about I make something for you?"

"Oh you cook do you?", she says with a smile, sounding impressed.

"I've spent a fair amount of time in the kitchen", I say with a smirk.

"Oh really? So what's your speciality?"

"...Peanut butter jelly?"

She laughs, "Do you like..Chinese?" 

We ordered Chinese and ate on the couch, she asked me about myself and I told her about how Hailee has been my friend for years, and how we really like old stuff. She told me how she also enjoys stuff like that and how she really likes vintage cars. We unknowingly spoke for over an hour and soon enough it was around 9:30 and my mom called to ask why I wasn't home for dinner, I told her I was at a friends' house.

"I have to go, thanks miss Jenner".

"You can call me Kendall outside of school", she says with a small smile.

"Okay..Kendall". I put by books in my bag and was just drawn towards her, I pulled her into a hug that ended up being very long, neither of us were letting go. I could feel her hot breath on my skin. I wrapped my arms around her waist even tighter and she moaned into my neck quietly. I was a little hesitant at first, but I started kissing her neck softly, making her arms around my neck tighter, pulling me even closer.

A little while later she slowly pulled away, "Y/N..." , she bit her lip slowly. 

"Kendall.." I cupped her face, using the pads of my thumbs to caress her face. "I'm going to go but I'll see you soon". She nodded slowly. I kissed her forehead slowly then left.
