Pika Sonic (Sonichu Rewritten and Remastered)

Chapter 0: The Chaos That Started It All

There was only less than a minute left. The Final Hazard was inching closer and closer to the Earth, with Sonic and Shadow trying to stop them. With the power of the Chaos Emerald, they both flew straight towards him. Sonic yells out, "No way that's getting through!" as as he prepares one final strike alongside the supposed "faker," Shadow. Just then, Shadow hears Maria's voice: her final words, "Shadow... I beg of you... Give them a chance... To be happy." "Maria..." Shadow mutters to himself. Just then, Shadow becomes more determined, getting ready to fulfill his promise to her. They were getting closer... And closer. Just then, Sonic yells out, "Now, Shadow!" And with that, they both unleashed their full power, as they both yell, "Chaos Control!" The Space Colony Arc was soon engulfed in light, destroying the prototype and returning the arc to it's original spot, saving the whole world. The world was saved... But at the cost of someone dear. Shadow... Couldn't make it. His power was being drained from his body, unable to move from the sheer power. Using all 7 Chaos Emeralds at the same time took a huge toll in his body. Though as he fell, he looked up to see a mirage of Maria, smiling at him as he fell. As such, he smiled a smile that he would only show her, "Maria... This is what you wanted, right? This is my promise... I made to you..." He slowly closed his eyes and felt his body sink even faster to the ground once he reached the atmosphere. And with that... Shadow... The Ultimate Life Form... Was no more. Meanwhile, Sonic smirked when he saw that the Arc and everyone in it was safe and sound. He crossed his arms and chuckled with confidence, "Whoo! That was tight! Right, Shadow?" He looked around, and noticed that Shadow was nowhere to be found. Sonic started to worry a bit, "Shadow?" He flew around a bit, hoping to find him. But Sonic began to fear the worst. "No... Don't tell me he..." He exclaimed, worried. He tried to stay hopeful... But then he saw something float in the air... A ring. He flew over and grabbed it, recognizing it. It was one of Shadow's wrist bands. "He must've removed it before he used Chaos Control... He gave it everything he had..." He sighed and gripped onto it a bit. "Shadow the Hedgehog... I wish I got to know him a little more." Just then, Sonic felt his powers fade away a bit. "Ggh! Oh no. I don't have much time. I have to get back to the Arc," Sonic said as he flew back inside, his Super Form being depleted as he did so and the Chaos Emeralds dispersing from his body. "Made it... But... The others... It's gonna be hard telling them what happened..." He walked over to everyone, not fully ready to give them the bad news.

That Chaos Control saved billions of lives and even the planet. However... The story doesn't end there. In fact, what was the end of this journey... Was the start of a new one. You see, the power of the Chaos Control was so massive, that it reached the multiverse. One universe, in particular, was greatly affected. That's when we cut to a young man and his Pikachu. The man was rather chubby and wore a red and blue collar shirt, holding a map that had several Xs on it. He sighed with sadness, "I don't get it. I've been everywhere in the Kanto Region and I STILL haven't found a boyfriend-free girl! It's unbelievable! I have tried talking to them, dancing with them! I even showed them my creative artwork and NOTHING! Yet those 'ChAdS' can get one easily. So why is it so hard for me!?" This man is Christopher. He has made it his life goal to find a girlfriend, or as he phrases it, a "boyfriend-free girl." As you can tell, he always strikes out. So much so, that he has become infamous for it. There are times when he wants to give up. However, his Pikachu wouldn't allow it. This Pikachu got on Chris' shoulder and nuzzled his cheek to try and cheer him up, saying, "Pika pika" as he did so. Chris soon smiled and coddles his chin, "Ok ok. I'll keep trying. After all, there must be SOMEONE out there for me. And hey. Maybe there's someone for you as well." Pikachu smiled gleefully and shouted a heartwarming, "Pikachu!" After a while, Chris sat on a rock in Route 4 and decided to take a break. He looked over at his phone and saw the latest update on the news. The headline read, "This Just In! Champion Red Has Mysteriously Disappeared! His Wife, Leaf, Found Devastated!" Chris scoffed a little bit, "See this, Pikachu? Now if that was ME, I would NEVER do that to a woman. And yet guys like HIM get ALL of the girls!" "Pik! A! Chu!" Pikachu said in agreement, nodding. Pikachu was always there to listen to his master, being his support and crutch. After a while, Chris sighed and put up his phone and spoke to his Pikachu, "Well... No use complaining about it. What do you wanna do?" Pikachu smiled and keep saying, "Pika pi! Pika! Pikachu!" Chris was a bit confused at first, but then smiled and got something out of his bag: a Sonic X comic. "Is it this?" Pikachu git even more excited and tried to grab the comic book. Chris laughs and pats his lap for Pikachu, "Ok ok! We'll read it together!" Pikachu squealed and got on Chris' lap and read the story with him. They were at the part where Sonic turned Super alongside Shadow. Pikachu was always fascinated with Sonic, wanting to be just as cool and strong as him. Pikachu was, in a way, Sonic's number one fan. He has reas over every Sonic comic book Chris has and always enjoyed reading over the adventures of the blue blur himself. After a while, Chris carefully got his Pikachu off of him and got up. "Alright. I'll see if there are any berries nearby. Wait here, ok?" Pikachu nods and stays put as Chris left. Just then, Pikachu saw something in the sky. It seemed like a ball of light. It was faint at first... But then... It got bigger. And bigger. And just then, Pikachu finds himself engulfed in the light and screaming in pain. There was screaming... Then shrieking... And then... Nothing. When Pikachu woke up however... He noticed something... Different. He had hands... Like... Actual hands. And arms... And legs... Pikachu tried to stand, but his legs wobbled and he fell on his knees. "Agh! Oww... Why can't I walk?" Pikachu exclaimed. But then his eyes grew wide. "Wait... Did I just-? How did I-? When could I-? Why CAN I-? I-I..." He got on his knees and covered his head, screaming, " WHAT HAPPENED TO ME!? FATHER! HELP ME!" As Pikachu yelled, Chris ran to him, "Hello!? I heard some scream- WHAT IN THE POKÉMON WORLD!?" Pikachu turned to Chris, who held a face of shock and disbelief. Pikachu was shaking and on the verge of tears. He was even stammering, clearly freaking out. "F... Father... You... You recognize me... R-R-... Right...?" Chris was very much confused. What is this thing? And why did it call him father? That's when Chris had a crazy theory. He couldn't find the words at first... But the soon quietly asked, "P... Pikachu...?" Pikachu nodded and sobbed. Chris immediately ran to hug and hugged him, letting him cry, "Hey. It's alright. Calm down." Pikachu couldn't mutter a single word. Just sobs. Chris just petted his head and kept his best buddy close. "I don't know what happened. Or how. But I promise you, things will be ok. I promise." Chris smiled a bit at the crying Pikachu. Or... Whatever he was now. "Heh. Besides..." Chris slowly turned on the camera in his phone to reveal to Pikachu what he truly looked like, and said, "I'd say that this is a massive improvement." Pikachu stared and gasped

"I... Is that... Me!?" Chris nods as the Pikachu screamed with joy, "I LOOK JUST LIKE SONIC!" Pikachu screamed with joy as his tears quickly went away. Chris just chuckled and let him do his freak out. "Yeah. That being said, we need a new name for you... How about... Sonichu?" Pikachu thought it over... And then shook his head. "No. That name kinda sucks." Chris gasped a bit, "No, it doesn't!" "It kinda does, not gonna lie. Sorry, father." Chris sighed as his head slumped downwards, "Don't call me that... Ugh, fine. What do YOU wanna be called?" Pikachu thought it over. "Hmm... How about...?"
