Iwaizumi and you proceeded to walk home in the rain, luckily you both fit under his umbrella.  You were almost to Iwaizumi's house so you put the hood of the jacket on swiftly. You took a deep breath, "Hey Iwa-chan?"

"Hm?"

"C-can," You took a deep breath, this cold rain had made you stutter, "Can you not tell Oikawa about what happened?"

"Why not?"

"It's just, I don't want him to worry. He's already got enough on his plate, like I said I don't want to worry him."

"I don't know..."

"Please?"

Iwaizumi sighed, "Fine."

"Yes! Thank you, Iwa-chan!" You hugged him, you wave him goodbye, "Bye! See you at school tomorrow!"  He waved you goodbye and you trudged home in the rain, making sure to wash Oikawa's hoodie again when you got home.

You walked to school tiredly, you had gotten more sleep than last night which was good but it wasn't enough sleep to make you not feel tired. You looked up at the sky, it was cloudy, and then it started to drizzle. It had been wet and cold in the last few days. You entered the gym for morning practice. Morning practice was shorter than normal practice and you only had it on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

You entered the gym, wiping your shoes off before you entered, Oikawa was there early. You sighed, "Oikawa, how long have you been here? I told you not to over work yourself!"

"Only thirty minutes, calm down. I'm not overworking myself." You nodded, thirty minutes was progress he used to come an hour before. You were happy he was making progress, you opened your notebook.

"How's your knee?"

"It's fine,"

"Can I have a little more?"

He sighed, "Really it's fine, it only hurts if I hit it or overuse it. Its still sore sometimes but considerably better from when I first got it." You nodded and wrote it down.

"What are you writing down?"

"Only stuff about your injured knee, I've been keeping track. I want to make sure you recover, alright. Are you eating your fruits and veggies and such?"

"Ya, I have been." You nodded and stuffed your notebook away. You wondered if Iwaizumi told him about yesterday, had he kept his promised? "How was your nephews volleyball practice?" You tested.

"It's been going well, he's really improving." He remarked. You took a deep breath, Iwaizumi had come through. Soon the players trickled in and practice started. After practice you went to class and could barely pay attention, you were so tired you wanted to fall asleep.

Class went well, but you fell asleep at the end. The late bell rung through the building, no one had woken you up, how long had you been asleep? You quickly got up, you tripped over you thought was the doorstop but was actually Akira's foot.

You turned around, in a confused heap of school papers and pencils. Hana pulled you to your feet, Akira kept watch looking around. "Now that Iwaizumi or Oikawa aren't here to save you, we can finish what you started."

"Ya!" Akira added unnecessarily. Something then clicked in your head, you studied Akira. Akira was the same girl that almost choked you out that one evening after practice. Akira and Hana were rambling about something but you were to astonished to pay attention. How have you not noticed? How have you not remembered?

"You know, I think Iwaizumi would love to hear about the little crush you have."

"You wouldn't dare." Hana sneered dramatically. What were with these girls? They were crazy.

"Watch me." You tried to get away but she grabbed your arm. You fell to the floor and she fell to the floor with you. You grabbed your binder you had dropped and got a good grip on it. She had your shoulders pinned to the ground, you tightened your grip on the binder and hit her across the face.

She wasn't expecting you to hit her so she fell against the wall. You got up quickly. You didn't know where this new found confidence came from but you loved it. You pulled her up to her feet and pushed her into the wall. You pulled her closer, "Don't you dare threaten or come near me again or I'll do more than just hit you." You sneered You threw her into the wall again for good measure.  You grabbed your stuff and walked to your next class, you felt empowered, strong.
