You looked at Oikawa in confusion, "What are you doing?" You blurted. You didn't want to sound rude.
"You're sick, and you told me you were tired and slept through the day. That means you didn't eat so I thought I would get you a snack or something." He explained.
You were tearing up, "Aw Oikawa! That's so sweet." You would've hugged him but you didn't want to get him sick. You started to eat crackers and rice and you felt a bit better, at least you weren't hungry anymore. "Wait, how'd you know I was sick?"
"Iwa-chan told me!" He beamed happily.
"Oh right," You said sheepishly. You finished up your food, "How was school?"
"It was alright, we don't have practice today so I guess that's cool." You nodded, "Oh! I almost forgot, Iwa-chan got your homework for you." He handed you a handful of papers, instantly feeling bad that he had to get your homework for you.
"Ah, gosh, I'm sorry for dumping my problems on you guys." You said getting up to clean up after yourself.
"No worries, here let me get that." Oikawa picked up the bowl you were eating rice out of and the crackers wrapper and cleaned up. You watched him put the bowl in the sink then wash his hands. He was so...pretty. He turned around, you directed your gaze elsewhere quickly. You hoped your face wasn't as it felt.
You grabbed a pencil, "I should probably start this."
"Do you want help?" he asked. You read the problems flipping through the pages. Was this material new? Did they have to start a new lesson the day you were gone? You sighed in frustration.
"Ya I could use your help." Oikawa chuckled then sat down near you to help you. You insisted on wearing a mask while he helped you so he wouldn't get sick and even though he insisted against you wore a mask. Oikawa was really helpful and by the time you two were done studying you understood the content much better. He explained everything so efficiently, sometimes you would get flustered because he got a little to close while explaining your homework, but you got over it. You didn't realize how late it was until your mother and grandfather walked in. "Oh thanks, Oikawa-san, you really helped me. I don't know what I would've done without you."
"It was nothing-" He was going to continue but your grandfather had already hit Oikawa with his cane."Grandpa!" You ran over looked at Oikawa's arm worried. You rolled up his sleeve and looked at where your grandfather hit him.
"I think I'm fine, y/n" he reassured you.
"You may be fine but that doesn't give him a right to hit you." You said angrily while glaring at your grandfather, "What was that for?"
"Really it's okay-"
"He could've been an intruder! And he was way to close to you."
Your mouth fell open in shock before you quickly closed it in order to retaliate, "Oikawa's my friend! He was just teaching me the lesson since I didn't go to school today!"
"Tch, how as I suppose to know that?" Your grandfather asked, while your mother ushered him into his bedroom clearly embarrassed by the entire situation and you didn't bother.
"I'm so sorry! Do you need pain medication? Or a bandage?"
"I told you, It's all good, I'm fine."
You sighed, "I guess-"
"Hey! How come when he's hurt why do you ask him a million questions? You only laughed at me when I scraped my knee." yelled your brother."Oh shut up!" You sighed rubbing your temples.
"You should probably leave before you get hurt again." He nodded and you walked him to the door, "Bye Oikawa! See you at school." You waved and coughed a few times. He waved goodbye and he was on his way.
