"And you can't convince him to think it's a lie?"
"No, my Lord, I've already tried but it did no good."
Severus Snape was discussing with the Dark Lord about the fact that Harry Potter and his little friends had spilled out to Dumbledore that Bellatrix might be pregnant. The Dark Lord sighed and rose from the table, walked over to a table and took an unopened letter with the Black family's seal into his hand, and came back to the table.
"Then tell him the truth. Or a part of it."
Severus wasn't excepting this and questioned the Dark Lord about the meaning of his words:
"What am I going to tell the old fool?"
"That she is indeed excepting my heir. Don't tell him about my intensions with the child."
Voldemort broke the seal and opened the parchment as he spoke and then started to read the letter.
"Very well, my Lord. The plan with the youngest of Death Eaters is going as planned, I suppose?"
A victorious smirk spreaded on the Dark Lord's face as he finished the letter.
"Touchè.""Bellatrix!"
Bellatrix groaned and let out an angry and fustrated sound when she threw herself back on her large bed and started complaining to the Dark Lord himself:
"It's been a week already!"
"And I told you to stay in bedrest until I command differently!"
"I'm fine!"
"One moment you are fine, another you're not!"
"It was just a little fever because of an infection and it's over already!"
"I can't risk this, you realise that? I can't risk this child's life, I have made too many of my plans to depend on her!"
Bellatrix drowned her head into her pillow as she knew that this fight was already lost. She decided not to argue anymore, since it wouldn't take her anywhere except angering the Dark Lord, and changed the subject.
"What makes you think it's a female?"
"How many times do I have to tell you to stop calling my child "it"?"
"I'll call it "it" until it's proven as something else."
Now it was Voldemort's turn to know he had lost an argument, though he would never admit it. He instead explained her and answered to her question:
"It has to be a girl. You can't have a boy, it would be too ironic."
Bellatrix got extremetly confused by this;
"Excuse me - What?"
Voldemort sighed like he was thinking she was an idiot, because she didn't understand it right away:
"You're Bellatrix Black, the mistreated firstborn but a woman in the Black fami-"
He trailed off when realisation spreaded across Bellatrix face, and sat up on the bed to drink whatever was in the disgusting potion Voldemort forced her to drink daily. He also forced her to eat all kinds of things as an example cake or pie or anything Narcissa's house elves had made the particular day. This all was because he thought she was too underweight, which she didn't agree on. Bellatrix had always been thin, especially after Azkaban, and now, over five months pregnant, she saw herself as a whale. But even Narcissa, who was extremetly small trough her whole pregnancy, agreed to Voldemort on the fact that she was far too small. Bellatrix finally got the terrible tasting potion down her throat and started speaking again to ease her boredom
"What happened to Dolohov anyway?"
"He's a pathetic vegetable now. I know he's a great duelist, and it wouldn't be wise from me to lose any more high-ranked Death Eaters. I tortured him until he lost his sanity and mind, and then placed him under a strong imperius curse."
Bellatrix let out her infamous, horrifying laugh at this, and stated;
"You made him your doll."
The two were quiet for a few minutes, as Bellatrix was busy at staring the ceiling and Voldemort was making some odd potion Bellatrix didn't bother to try and recognize. Bellatrix groaned and sighed in the anger the boredom had produced. He'd apparently done something that needed focusing and she had messed that up, because he turned to her and impatiently snorted;
"What makes you think you're allowed to talk and act like that? I haven't heard a single "my Lord" or "Master" in a sentence you've said today"
"Well, maybe the fact that I need to grow your offspring inside of me for nine months, and after all the pain and swelling, push it out of a very tiny hole in my body!"
Voldemort realised that her pregnancy hormones most definetly had made Bellatrix more arrogant and her temper even worse. Fuck. How would he ever learn how to deal with this woman?(A/N I actually have no idea what's in that letter, so please some suggestions? Thank you!)
