CHAPTER 1 :
Arianna's POV :
i spent 2 weeks in California with my dad, miles away from mom. They got divorced when i was 6 and Carly was just a harmless little 2 year old. 11 years later, i'm still the perfect daughter, perfect best friend and the perfect sister.
My sister Carly was only 2 when dad left us because of his job. I felt responsible for her, I was the only one there for her when she cried at night, puked her milk out and watch her grow up. She is currenty in middle school and I'm happy to be the sister of Carly Carrington.
I walked into the house with my laugage on my tail. "Mom, i'm back!" I sighed. She was never here, she was too busy working and attending formal dinner. She works as a lawyer, all her clients were rich and demanding, they have high expectations on my mom. "Arianna, you're finally home!" my twelve year old sister ran down the stairs .
"Hey Carls" I smiled giving her a hug "I missed you." She hugged my waiste tightly and finally let go. I walked over to the couch and sat down. "Where's mum?" I asked Carly. "She had to go to the court" Carly answered as she walked over to my laugage and pulled it to the laundry room. "It's okay Carly! I'll do it myself" I shouted to her as i stood up and walked to the laundry room.
"Lets go out for dinner!" I suggested. She nodded her head eagerly and took my hand. We walked out of the house and i made sure to lock the front door. I unlocked my Volkswagen Beetle and climbed into the drivers seat while Carly climbed into the passanger's seat.
We arrived at Subway, one of our favorite sandwich shops. We ate our sandwiches and drove home. I was really tiered because of the flight and the lack of sleep in California. "You should go to sleep, sis" Carly patted my back. "Thanks Carly. You should too." I kissed her on the cheek and dragged my feet up the stairs.
NEXT MORNING~
I woke up to the sound of my alarm clock, I groaned as I pushed myself up from the bed. I walked over to my bathroom to wash my face and brush my teeth. I walked out of my room still in my pyjamas. I skipped down the stairs to see my very happy mum. "Morning mum!" I grinned and hugged her.
"I made your favourites" She pointed towards a plate of crispy bacon on the counter. "oh my god!" I shouted and ran into the kitchen, I took a piece of bacon and placed it into my mouth. "Thanks mum." I walked back up the stairs to change my clothes.
I wore my favourit crop top and my blue jeans with my favourite pair of ankle boots. I didnt put any makeup on because, i didn't want to look fake. (NO OFFENCE TO PEOPLE THAT WEARS MAKEUP) I closed my door behind me as i took my school bag from the chair before leaving my room. "Hey Arianna!" Carly called from her room which was opposite mine, she had troubles on tying a bow on her head.
"Come here" i rolled my eyes and pointed to the space infront of me gesturing for her to stand infront of me. "I'll help you." I tied a bow on top of her head like a cheerleader's bow. "Thanks Ria" I smiled as i remembered how she got the nickname from. She was one smart todler.
We walked down the stairs together and ate our breakfast with mum. She's finally taking a break from work. I stood up from the table and walked over to the sink to put my plate and wash my lips. "bye mum!" I walked out of the door after kissing both mum and Carly on the cheek.
