The next morning I woke up groggy and warm. There was an arm under my head and another one over my waist while my legs were tangled with the hunk of muscle next to me. I look up to see Jay's sleeping face, his mouth parted slightly, soft snores coming out at a steady face. I turned in his grasp and checked the clock on his bedside table, 10:35 AM, it read. We had training at eleven and I needed to get rid of the headache that was softly pounding in my skull. I didn't get hangovers too often, thank God, and all I really needed was some Aspirin and food in my stomach.

I didn't want to wake up Jay, though, he looked so peaceful and unbothered in this state. I shook his shoulder slightly and tried anyways, knowing Kaydence would be upset if we didn't show up today.

He stirred a bit before opening his eyes into narrow slits, "Buenos dias." He smiled and pulled me to him again. I laughed at how husky is voice was and tried to pull away.

"Get up lazy, we have training in half an hour." I pushed him off me fully, earning a groan from him as I stood up and looked through the drawer where some of my workout clothes were. I turned around and quickly slipped on a black sports bra and a pair of matching underwear. I knew he was staring at me but it wasn't anything Jay hadn't seen before and I was comfortable around him anyways. He didn't creep me out like some of the other guys did when they stared at me. I threw on some black Nike shorts and kept on his shirt, knowing I would probably take it off later anyways to cool off.

"I could get used to waking up like this everyday." He smirked at me when I finally turned to him. His eyes were on me as I walked to his bed. I placed my lips on his and bit down softly on his bottom one, a groan escaping his throat from the pressure.

"Don't." I smirked at him and walked out of the room. Mari and Luis were already downstairs eating while Jackson manned the stove. I grabbed a couple pills from the cabinet and downed them with a glass of water.

"Hey, rough night?" Jackson asked me when he set down a plate of eggs and bacon in front of me. He winked at me with one of his brown eyes and I smacked the back of his head. I didn't even do anything!

"Mari, you good?" I asked the curly head that was now face down on the table. She groaned and stuck her thumb up in the air Training was going to be fun with her..

"She had a lot of shots before you got here last night." Luis explained, shoveling eggs into his mouth. I nodded and chewed a piece of bacon. Jay came down a few minutes later, taking the plate from Jackson and sitting down next to me. He gave me a quick kiss before pigging out on the breakfast food.

"Is that happening again?" Mari asked, her head now resting on her hand. She looked annoyed, but she was wary after Papa's death, not wanting me to get hurt anymore than I alrady had been. She was just trying to protect me.

I just shrugged in response. It's not that I was lying, but I really didn't know what was going on with me and him. I mean, sure, we made out, and yes, it was hot, but did that mean we were dating again? He hadn't asked me about it and I didn't really want to know the answer anyways. We were just hanging out, having fun. Keeping it casual? I wasn't ready for another relationship, even if it was with Jay. But maybe if he asked I would reconsider. Maybe. God, I'm so indecisive!

Ten minutes later and we were standing outside the compound, loitering until Kaydence called us in. Jay had lent me his extra board while I was staying here so I wouldn't have to walk so we got there quickly. He was standing in front of me, my back leaned against the wall with a foot bent up, tucking a few strands of hair behind my ear while he blew cigarette smoke out of the corner of his mouth. We were talking about the soccer team at Ridgecrest when I spotted a familiar car sitting in the corner of the parking lot.
