Writing this story has been quite an emotional and spiritual roller coaster for me. TBH, ang original plot nito ay 23 Chapters lang. When I first started writing I was thinking, I'll be writing a short, light teen fiction for the young readers. The Holy Spirit, however, seemed to have other things in mind, because as I was writing it, more and more events were added, some even changing totally how I originally planned it! It is by His Grace alone that I was able to finish this in three months only. (This the quickest story I've ever written so far, and the longest too!)

So as this book comes to a close, may God be Glorified. Feedback for this book is welcome! You can go ahead and comment it here. ✒️

Most of you may have felt as though the end had happened so abrupt- so out of the blue. But let me tell you, that is exactly how it is in reality as well. You never can expect when death will come, but it does come - and most of the time, we don't expect it when it does. Maaaring nagtataka kayo kung bakit ganito ang ending ng librong ito, and this is the reason why:

I've once heard a preacher say 'Jesus here on earth did not reach His full potential, but He did fulfill His purpose'

What did he mean by that? The meaning is this; Jesus could have been a potential carpenter - very good carpenter! Jesus could have been a potential teacher of the law - he was an excellent rabbi! Jesus could have been one of the best philosophers in his time, but He never reached any of this, instead He chose to be crucified on the cross - fulfilling His purpose here on earth. In fact, through the eyes of the world, Jesus had seemed to be a failure on that Cross! Dying a horrid death, one may say that He was a failure, a man whose potential was not reached, but the reality, He has done the greatest deed in the history of mankind - to bring salvation to a fallen world.

Following the example of Jesus, this is how this story of mine seemed to turned out. I understand that it had the potential of being quite a good love story, like a story that teaches what true love is, how godly relationships grow and such. But this is not the purpose of this book. There are countless books out there that fulfill that purpose, and are anointed for it too!(You can check out Aranew's and MoldedMind's stories for those types of themes)

This story, however? Not quite. When God placed this story in my heart, the message He wanted me to speak was as simple as the title. No turning back. My goal is to emphasize to you, dear reader, that our time here on earth is running out, and that there are greater things to prepare for.

Yes, it is wise to prepare and be Spirit-led on the future spouses, careers, ministries etc. that we'll have, but much more than that, we must be prepared, fully cleansed and in our white robes, for our eternal groom - Jesus Christ.

Tignan nalang natin ang buhay ni Grace. She had only been with Gabriel for a few months, and God decided to take her home. Si Gabriel naman, by God's Grace continued to serve despite the pain of her loss. Little did they know that the rapture was so near at hand.

This is the reality, kapatid. It can happen in a blink of an eye. The only question that truly matters now is; are you prepared?

I pray, that by the Anointing and conviction of the Holy Spirit, I have successfully conveyed the purpose that He wanted for this book. I hope that you have learned from it as much as I have. Again, let's turn our eyes to eternal things, let us seek to be prepared for His coming.  The hour is near, and my prayer for you dear reader, is that you find it in your heart today to get serious with your faith.

Let us rise higher in the Spirit. ❤
