The Sense Of Pain

Sixteen

After about a while, Archie and Veronica opened to bunker and went inside with some nice Pop's food to meet a sleeping Betty on a sleeping Jughead's chest. It warmed Veronica's heart and she silently squealed. She took a picture of them to savour the moment. They kept the food on the table and went back leaving the two alone.
The next morning the two captive in an old bunker woke up to cold Pop's food and an open bunker. They got out of there and during their walk back to the town Betty kept quiet which was killing Jughead inside.
He broke the silence and said, " I don't want you to feel awkward around me because you told me your deepest secret. I won't see you any differently because of that instead I guess I see you as a stronger person. You went through it alone but never gave up on yourself. That's like amazing."

Betty smiled at Jughead's words and looked to him with thankfulness in her eyes. As she looked at him she felt all her worries gone and she was just a free, wandering girl who loves her life. She then realized she was looking at him for too long and quickly broke eye contact. Soon enough they reached Betty's house and Jughead suddenly grabbed her hand and pulled her to the corner of the house.

" Okay, I have a plan. They played a game on us now we play a game on them. Let's ignore them for as long as we can.", Jughead stated smiling.

Betty furrowed her eyebrows at first not liking the fact that she had to ignore har brother and her best friend who is literally impossible to ignore but then she smiled back and nodded yes to the plan.

They went in and found Veronica and Archie on the couch watching TV ( atleast they weren't sucking each others faces off ). Betty and Jughead looked at each other, smiled and then rushed off to her bedroom without a word. The other two were extremely confused and went after them. Betty and Jughead entered Betty's room and it was just as Jughead had seen it the last time he was here to look for batteries. He sat on her bed while Betty arranged some things as Archie and Veronica entered. They ignored the curious two and continued with what they were doing.

Veronica spoke," Sooooo, what did you guys do in the bunker?"

The two didn't say a word to them and Archie said the next thing," Guyssss we are talking to you. We kind of want to know what happened there...??"

Still nothing. Jughead was laughing so hard at their desperate attempts to get them to speak. They continued asking questions but the other two did nothing. Then Betty got her compter and asked Jughead if he wanted to watch a movie. Archie and Veronica stopped talking as Veronica was standing there in disbelieve to the amount they can ignore them. Soon they went down and tried the same no talking tactic on them. Veronica decided that it was getting on her nerves and she stormed into the room.

" OK YOU BOTH GOT TO STOP IGNORING US AND ATLEAST TALK TO US ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE. IT'S GETTING IRRITATING."

Betty and Jughead looked at each other and started snickering but kept ignoring her. She went off angry but comically, presumably to her house. Next Archie came in and looked at the two of them guiltily.

He said," I am so sorry about what Veronica did to you guys. I told to give you sometime to do stuff and she misinterpreted it. I don't want you guys to ignore me anymore."

Betty felt a little bad but she knew it was like giving them a taste of their own medicine, not exactly though. Jughead was trying hard not to laugh at Archie's innocence but still kept a straight face and ignored him. Soon it was time for Jughead to leave and they decided to talk to them from tomorrow since they went through enough torture.

A/N I am so sorry this chapter is kinda boring. I am out of inspiration right now but I'll be back with some actual cute Bughead and exciting storylines.
