It's been one month since Kevin arrived back to Riverdale. Life was almost the same with Alice Cooper over the three's heads and Veronica stressing over her boutique. Kevin joined a photography studio at the and is currently helping with a big photoshoot. With the help of Veronica, Betty figured that she likes Jughead but can't gut up to tell him. Jughead has grown tired of waiting for the perfect moment to tell Betty he likes her and can't suppress his feelings anymore, mainly after the previous week.

* 1 week earlier*
" Hey Betty...u like robot movies??", Jughead asks surprised.
" Not exactly but nothing else was playing and I was in mood for movie theatre popcorn.", Betty responded.
" Makes sense.", Jughead states smiling.
The movie theatre is empty so Jughead sits next to Betty and starts snacking on his popcorn. The share comments about the movie while watching it and it was fun and comfortable for the both of them. After the movie, Jughead was trying to build up the courage to ask Betty for coffee but couldn't do it for some reason but instead insisted on walking her home. They reached their destination and were looking into each other's eyes. They leaned in, slowly, but was interrupted by some random person trying to find his way to Pop's. They said their goodbyes and Betty walked in her house. Jughead cursed himself for doing nothing and was hoping that things weren't awkward between them due to that very brief moment.
* End of flashback*
He went to Kevin, the only person he can talk to without shrieks or disinterest in the topic. The two had gotten to know each other better and became quite close friends. He went to his studio while Kevin was in middle of his photoshoot. Suddenly, a person behind Kevin screamed BREAK. The entire crew scattered away and the model started fanning herself in a fully air conditioned room. Drama queen.
Kevin saw Jughead and walked up to him and said," Hey, what are you doing here?"
" I would say I came to see you work amazingly which is not wrong but I need advice.", Jughead said.
" Well you have come to the right man!", Kevin exclaimed.
Jughead smiled at that and said," I don't know if you know but I really like Betty and I have been trying to build up the courage to ask her out. Therefore I need your expertise."
Kevin grinned big and was squealing inside but couldn't bring it out as he was at work. He responded," Yessssss, finally someone for my Baby B. She hasn't been asked out since she dumped this guy named Trev. This is perfect."
" Ok so where do I take her and what do I do? To be honest I haven't had a girlfriend like ever since everyone thought I was a weirdo. I mean I am."
" Woah! With that body and hair....people thought you were a weirdo?!?! Damn if I had been in your school and you were gay I would totally date you!"
" Wow okay, so what do I do?", Jughead questioned.
" Well take her to Sweetwater river, and maybe have like a nice picnic? I am sorry it may seem stupid but Betty loves that place for some reason so-"
" No that's perfect. I am gonna ask her right now."
Kevin smiled from ear to ear happy that Betty was finally getting a super nice guy. He didn't know why she broke up with Trev but he was sure that Jughead was 10 times better than him. Also he was excited to date one of Jughead's friend... it's part of the pact.
Jughead reached the front of the Cooper house. He saw Alice Cooper's car in the driveway so there was no way he was knocking on the door. He saw a ladder on the ground right below Betty's window. He aligned it along the wall and started climbing it, scared as hell. He reached her window and knocked quietly, hoping Betty would be there. The curtains flew open and on the opposite side stood a surprised Betty. She opened the window still surprised as Jughead climbed in.
She exclaimed," What are you doing here and why did you come through the window?"
" Ummmm...there was a question I needed to ask you and your mother was home so didn't wanna knock on the door. Boss things.", Jughead answered still nervous.
" That's true. So what did you want to  ask me?", Betty asked uncertainly because of Jughead's tone.
" Well uh- I wanted to ask if you would, only if you want to, like go on a date with me?", Jughead stammered.
Betty was shocked. She definitely did not expect him to ask that. Should she say yes or no?
