Using a cloaking spell I like mouse quality opened the door and creeped out.

Thankfully nobody was in the hallway, they wouldn't believe the visit that used to roam was back. Lizzie made sure to get rid of it a long time ago, especially after it tried to take Naomi and me.

" Come on Halin." I whisper

Halin- also under a cloaking spell- swooped down onto my shoulder.

" You ready boy?"

" Yes, master."

Walking on the balls of my feet and releasing quiet breaths I made my way through the hallways.

Finally, after what felt like an eternity I reached Naomi's room.

I sighed as I saw Veronica and Violet bustling about in the room rushing Naomi to get dressed in one of the biggest dresses I've ever seen.

Surprisingly it is white with red rose petals sewn on the skirt part which looks like a cloud.

What made them think she would enjoy wearing something like that.

" Why couldn't I choose my dress?" Naomi groaned as Violet brought it to her.

" Because this dress is a family heirloom," Veronica explained.

" What dead did my ancestor peel this dress off of?" Naomi asked turning to her mam.

" I can't remember," she shook her head," Now Violet help your sister into her dress."

" Actually mom I was wondering if you would allow me to dress in private?"

" Um..... I don't see why not," Veronica  faltered," Violet let's get going, you can help me with my hair."

I swiftly moved out of the way as Veronica and Violet left the room. The door clicking shut behind them.

" Why in the hell did they think I would wear something like this?" Naomi sighed her fingers pulling at the fabric.

" I was thinking the same thing," I chuckled stepping out from the cloaking spell.

" Holy shit." Naomi gasped jumping around.

" Guess great minds think alike." I smirked.

" First of all you have me a fright you asshole, second of all did you just admit that I have a great mind, and third of all how long have you been there?"

" Well, I'm not that sorry for giving you a fright, on the second thing yes I am admitting you have a great mind and thirdly I just came in a few minutes ago."

" Okay let's get moving." She smiled.

" Yeah let's go."

Under the protection of the cloaking spell, we swiftly moved out of the temple.

As we passed the arena we looked out at our coven one last time. This will hopefully be the last time I see any of them.

Hawthorn was just as busy as the temple. All the villagers were running around preparing for the wedding. Unlike the temple, these decorations were bright and colourful.

" Let's get Ava first." Naomi whispered.

" No you get Gareth and I'll get Ava it will be faster that way."

" Good point."

" Okay let's hurry we don't have the luxury of time."

Splitting up she bolted through all the people and into the house where Gareth is getting ready.

" She's in a hurry."

" Yeah, we should too," I whispered taking off in the direction of Ava's house.

The house is packed, many girls in their fancy dresses ran around the house.

Great how will I get Ava out of here with so many people?

Then a lit candle caught my eye and my old self came back.

If I light the house on fire then everyone will have to leave and I can sneak Ava out. Simple- right?

Quietly I snuck up the stairs making sure not to hit anyone in the path. When I reached her room I was happy to see that only she is in it.

Closing the door I stepped out of the cloaking spell.

" Finally." Ava sighed running over to me.

Pulling her close I gave her a quick kiss. I wanted to kiss her longer but I know I will get distracted and the mission will suffer because of it.

" Sorry if I took too long. Listen I have an idea on how to get you out."

" Thank God I was so worried about that when all those people showed up."

" Ava are you alright in there?" Someone called from outside the door.

" Yes, I'm alright." Ava replied.

" Do you need help with anything?"

" No."

" You sure?"

Fuck this woman is persistent!

" Yes, Helen I'm sure." Ava replied more sternly.

" Alright." Helen said.

Her footsteps echoed as she walked down the stairs to join everyone else.

" Helen is a very persistent woman isn't she?" I smirked.

" Yeah, sorry what about that," she quietly chuckled," So what is your plan?"

" Well, let me put it this way. I accidentally knock over a candle and the house sets alight then I can sneak you away in all the chaos." I explained.

" You want to set the house on fire." Ava gasped pulling away from me.

" Not a big fire, I'll cast a spell to control it. It won't spread beyond a certain point. Nobody will get hurt, I may have been raised evil but I do have a limit."

" You sure nobody will die?"

" I swear on my own grave."

She paced back and forth a couple of times. Trying to wrap her head around what I want to do. This wasn't part of the plan it sometimes when things don't go as planned we have to take other measures.

" Okay let's do it." She nodded her head.

" Okay stand by the window, first I'll transform you into a bird then I'll set this place alight."

" Sounds fun." She smiled moving towards the window.

I quickly changed Ava into a bird, she looks so cute as a finch.

I took the candle from her dressing table and lit it with a match.

Taking her bedsheets I crumbled them up and set them alight.

Smoke filled the room as the flames grew bigger and bigger. I quickly did the spell to control the flames then transformed into a bird and the three of us flew away to the woods.
