i.
Are you outward-bound?With your souls on display, and your minds set free
Fit for one last stormy ride
On the fragile merry-go-round
ii.
Waving your weathered heartsLike worn out, pale white flags
When only sweet deceit remains
As the last shards of sanity parts
iii.
Eccentricity shan't be your salvationIn this oceanic lunacy
Nor shall wisdom be your aid
When faced with damnation
iv.
Beckon the poets and the writersLet them out of their imaginary cages
Tie the knot a little tighter
Hand out the gasoline and the lighters
v.
Throw your invulnerability overboardYou have no need for it now
As It certainly has no need for you
Succumb to chance, let circumstance be your newfound lord
vi.
Are you homeward bound? With your true souls well hidden, cleverly masked as do-gooders
All set for another joyful ride
On the everlasting merry-go-round
