Louis' POV

We arrived at the museum a few minutes later. "Ready?" I asked Olivia. She nodded but it was quite unconvincing. I  parked the car and we all got out. All of us except Olivia. I turned my head back and she looked me in the eyes and shook her head. I sighed and turned my heads towards the others.

"You guys go on, I'll get Olivia and come."
"You sure?" Perrie asked. "I can talk to her if you want."
"No, it's okay, I'll only be a few minutes."

They left and I walked back to the van and jumped in the drivers seat. As I got settled, I looked over at Olivia, who was taking deep breaths and trying to settle her nerves, I'm assuming. I grabbed her hand and rubbed small circles on the back of it with my thumb. I looked up at her, with concern and worry in my eyes, giving a small smile.

"What's wrong, Livvy?"
"I can't do this Louis."
"Yes you can. Of course you can. Why not?"
"Niall can hurt me all he wants but I can't do that to him. I can't go out there." She shed a tear. I wiped it away from her eye.

Oh Olivia, you sweet, innocent, person. She cried a little and I let her. I wanted her to, so she could get out all the pain she was holding inside. As she was crying, I couldn't help but stare at her. I know, I know, I sound creepy but I couldn't help it. Her beautiful hair, her eyes, her lips. I don't think I've seen her as her peaceful, happy self in a long time. She didn't deserve the hurt she was getting. I just wish one day her heart would see me as the one for her. I still remember the day mine decided that she was going to be the one for me. Sadly I didn't realise until she got together with Niall. It hurts to think about it. I suppose I always liked her. I knew that since we were in secondary school, I just hid my feelings from everyone. So when Niall came prancing around, like the dumb idiot he is, and they got together, I got jealous, Really jealous. I soon realised it was love. My first love. My childhood love. Hopefully my last and only love. Olivia. My love. Oh if only you knew.

"Come here." I wrapped her in a warm hug. "Okay. I understand you don't want to do this, but you're not going to be hurting Niall." She looked at me silently as I moved away. I looked in her eyes and took a deep breath. "Look, sorry for being so abrupt, but Niall doesn't care about you anymore. So whatever you do won't affect him. Unless you go out there and show him that you don't need him. You, Olivia West, are a strong independent woman. Doing this is just giving that bastard a taste of his own medicine."

"But I-"

"Nope. No buts." I sighed deeply. "Look. I know you don't believe me, but this is the first time in years where you have actually done something for yourself. Four years ago, you're parents passed away. Since then, you've done nothing but care about others. You looked after Ella, practically became her Mum at the age of 20. Everyday, you would put up with Niall. His attitude and how he would never help you, You we're basically his slave, Olivia. You never deserved him then, and you definitely don't deserve him now. So you go out there and show him how amazing you really are. You may still love him, but I know you want to get over him. I can see it in your eyes and I know hurting him just the way he hurt you is a way that will help you overcome this. It'll help you move on." I held out my hand. "So are you coming?"

She looked a little unsure but then smiled broadly and took hold of my hand tightly. "Let's go."

We both got out of the car and joined our hands again. We walked towards the entrance of the museum and as we were walking, I heard her sigh beside me. I looked over at her and saw her smiling sadly. I made a gesture with my hand to say 'what's wrong.'

She sighed again and began speaking. "You're always there for me. Always consoling me. I never ask about you, how you are, it always about me. I'm so selfish." she said laughing softly.
"Oi, I literally just gave a whole speech about how you've been so selfless lately." I said cheekily to try and cheer her up. It didn't work. "Olivia. What are you are going through is heartbreak and a time where you are allowed to be selfish. You're so strong."
She scoffed. "Yeah, right."

"When are you going to realise that sometimes its about you?" She stayed quiet. "Olivia." I said in a pleading tone. "Don't make me give you another weird insparational speech."

"Okay, okay. I won't." She said laughing." But.. When we get back into town tomorrow, we're gonna have a day out and it's gonna be all about you. We'll go to wherever you wanna eat, where you wanna shop, whatever you want to do. Tomorrow's you're day. Just me and you."
"I like the sound of that." I laughed.

We got to the museum doors and it looked like our plan had worked. As we were coming here, I posted a picture of the museum so the paparazzi would know where we were. Some fans were here too but I suppose that would have happened regardless. Thank goodness they weren't allowed inside. We still did want to have a nice time at the museum. As we walked past the first few of them, I squeezed Olivia's hand.
"Ready?" I whispered.
"Yup."

She leaned up a little and kissed my cheek. I smiled a little but inside I felt fireworks going off. I suppose this situation was a win-win for the both of us. When the photographers saw how we were acting, the camera flashes mulitpied and there were screams and shouts coming from all directions.

"Louis, Olivia!" One of the reporters yelled. "Are you two finally in a relationship?"

I turned to Olivia and smiled. She gave a barely noticable smile back and I turned back towards the paparazzi. "We can't say anything right now, but all will be revealed later." I said.

We opened the doors, ignoring the pleas and questions of the other reporters, and walked inside, soon meeting up with the rest of our friends.
"Did it work?" Liam asked.
"Fingers crossed." Olivia said.
"Come on, let's go look at some stuff." I said smiling a little.

***

"Ready? Three...Two...One.." I pushed down on the phone screen. "We are officially a couple." I said to Olivia. It was just us two downstairs and everyone else had gone to bed. It was quite late but, after all, we had promised the press.

Me and Olivia had posted a picture of each other on every one of our socials. Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, you name it. We posted the same picture with the same caption, and even though it's been only two seconds, the posts were blowing up with comments.

"I am no longer single."

Olivia smiled at me. "Weird. Who'd wanna date an ugly man like you." she said in a teasing way, with a small smirk playing on her lips.
"You, obviously." I countered.
"I think you're forgetting the part where this is fake." she pointed out.

Not gonna lie, that made my heart sink a little. Oh well, what can you do.

"Look at some of these comments." I said laughing. "I've shipped these two since Day 1. I'm so happy it's finally canon."
Olivia pointed one out. "These two are gonna make each others world complete."

Aww, that one was sweet.

I started reading out the next one.

"First Niall and now Louis, in only a matter of days. She cheated on Niall, who's to say she won't do the same to Louis. Olivia West is a sla-"
"Wow. That's a bit nasty."
"Don't pay attention to them Olivia."
"I'm not gonna. Im used to it by now, Ive been getting hate since Niall's news interview yesterday."
"What? Liv, why haven't you said anything." She shrugged her shoulders.

I decided to change the subject.

"Well, Miss West. You owe me £100." I smiled, looking down at my phone. In only a few seconds, the hashtag #Loulivia was trending. Lucky me.
"What?!" she grabbed the phone out of my hand, and looked at the screen frantically. "Seriously." she face palmed, groaning. "Out of all the combonations of our name, they had to go with the one you said." She looked at me with a frown.
"Cheer up, Livvy. I'll treat you to a nice dinner with that money."

Suddenly her phone started ringing. "Ugh. It's all the way in the kitchen."
"It's like two metres away." I chuckled.
"That's so far." She whined.
"Maybe I should buy you a wheelchair with the money I've won."
"Oh shut up." She laughed as she got up from the sofa to go and answer it.

She went inside and I heard her gasp. "Louis!" I heard her call out. I got up and went inside the kitchen, where she stood, white as a ghost. She looked up at me with a worried expression.
"Liv, what's wrong?"

She put her phone in my hands and I looked at the screen to see a blocked number. I looked at her confused.

"It's Niall." she whispered.
