After we had our little lunch we put a movie on and just sat down. I was cuddled close to Niall and the rest of the guys were sat on the other sofa's. I hadn't talked to Ella yet and she still hadn't come downstairs yet but I thought I should just leave her alone. Maybe she was just having one of her 'off' days so it was best to back away cause I didn't want to upset her anymore. I could tell Niall was hurt and usually he would talk to her and himself but for some reason this time he didn't. Either he was really hurt about what she had said or something else was up. He's been acting really weird since last night and I dont know why. He was acting as if he didn't care about us anymore but I kept repeating his words from last night. 'I'll never leave you'
Huh, yeah right.
I snapped out of my daydream and checked the time. 6:30. "I'm gonna get started on dinner." I told no one in particular. I got up when Niall grabbed my arm and pulled me back with a puppy dog look on his face.
"No" He whined. "Stay. I wanna cuddle"
"I'm hungry." I complained, laughing. "Homemade pizza?"
He nodded and let go of my arm and I walked to the kitchen when Louis came in after me. I turned around to see him giving me a sweet smile. "Why are you here?" I questioned. Out of all the boys I was probably closest to Louis since we're childhood friends. We've known each other since we were like 2. Well he was 5. Anyway, he's the one who introduced me to the boys.
"I thought I'd help. Boring movie anyway."
"Okay." I said with a smile on my face. "Niall never helps"
"Really?" He had a questioning look on his face.
"Nope." I sighed. "Doesn't matter anyway" There was an awkward silence until I clapped my hands "Let's get started."
We kept talking as we made dinner and put the pizza into the oven. We set the table while we waited for it to cook but it still wasn't ready. We stood in front of the oven waiting for it to finish so we just made small talk for a bit. It turned into a conversation about our past somehow and were laughing at every little memory. "Rememeber when we scared Ella when she was 4 by telling her that you would turn into a monster at night." I said gasping for breath.
"That was the best prank ever." He smiled whilst shaking his head. He sighed and looked down whilst frowning "Everything seemed so much better back then."
"You mean before you became part of the biggest band in the world." I said knowingly. He looked up at me and nodded shyly. "Don't you ever say that again, Louis. I had never been more proud of you when I saw you on that X-Factor stage. So dont even think about saying it was better back then because everything is amazing right now. So get that smile back on your face. " He looked at me and smiled forcefully. I glared at him and he finally took me seriously and gave me a genuine smile. "There he is." I said laughing.
He gave me a playful punch on the shoulder and laughed with me. "You always know how to cheer me up."
"We have known each other for over 15 years"
"All right, smart-ass" It was quiet for a bit when he perked up again, only this time I didn't really want to answer. "About what you said before, Does Niall really not help you around the house at all?" This question riled me up becasue it was the reason me and Niall fought so much, so instead, I stayed quiet. "Olivia?"
"Not that it's any of your business, Lou, no he doesn't. So can we please not talk about it." I said a bit too harsh. He put his hands up in defence and looked away and I immediatley felt guilty, "Sorry."
"It's fine." He looked at me with a soft look on his face. "Come here." He opened his arms for a hug. I walked over to him and wrapped my arms around him. He let go and looked at me. He smiled sweetly when it turned into his famous cheeky smirk. "Don't hate me" He said laughing.
"What are you on abo-" He picked up the tomato sauce bottle from the counter and threw it over my head. "LOUIS!" He ran into the living room laughing with me hot on his heels.
I chased him around the room and the other boys just laughed at us. I finally grabbed him after we circled the room 5 times and hugged him tight to get the sauce on him. Since he was taller than me I stood on my tiptoes so I was face to face with him and shook my head like a wet dog laughing my head off. Once I had finally regained my composure, I let him go and he looked as though he wanted to kill me. I put on the nicest smile I could muster up without laughing again and put my hand up as a peace offering "Even?" He extended his hand before pulling it away at the last second.
"I don't think so West. It's on."
"You started it. " I said laughing. "But okay. It's on. You gonna shake my hand now?" He shook my hand and we heard two other guys 'oohing'. I turned my head and saw Harry and Liam laughing but Niall looked as though he was about to burst from jealousy. He was even more red than me and Louis. I looked at him and smiled to calm him down but he didn't smile back. I shrugged it off and looked back at the other boys, "Can you guys get the pizza out the oven. I'm gonna wash my hair." I sent Louis a glare and as I turned and walked away I flipped him off. I heard him fake gasp which made me giggle quietly. "Where am I gonna wash my hair?" I heard him shout. "Try dipping your head in the toilet" I shouted back and again heard the boys whooping and laughing again.
