Thunder and lightning was everywhere as it was pouring with rain. It wasn't your average day in Los Angeles.
It was stormy.Holding an umbrella as she walked out a grocery store, a woman walked out into the streets. But not far away was there a famous man being chased by someone. A crazy fan stalker.
She was passing a small alley as she heard someone talking.
"L-look, I love all my fans-but you can't keep following me around. Please I don't want to have to report this to the police." A mans voice said.
Stopping in front of the alley, the girl looked down it as she saw a lady harassing a someone.
"You would report it to the police?! How dare you?! You are my idol! My everything! If you report it you will regret it!!!" The lady next to him said.
Before the man could speak the lady grabbed him as she tried to force him to kiss her. He tried pushing her away without making a scene.
"Please-I don't want to." He said turning his head to the side.
The girl observing didn't know what to do until she had an idea.
"Hey crazy bitch!" She shouted.
The lady harassing him turned around as the girl pulled one of her heavy bag of groceries and swung it at her. The lady fell to the ground as the girl handed the man her umbrella.
"Here hold this."
He did as she said while he pulled out his phone and dialled the police.
"911 what's your emergency?"
"Y-yes I'm in the alley outside of Bath and Body works that's next to the little Chinese restaurant on that little avenue. Someone tried harassing me who has been following me all week." The man said quickly.
"Okay-try going into a store and stay in there until we get there. Is there anyone else with you?"
"Yes there's this girl-she kind of hit the lady with her grocery bag and is currently pinning the lady to the ground-"
"Alright, right now I need you to go into a store and possibly stay around a group of people until we get there."
"O-okay." He said.
"Just stay on the phone with me."
The man nodded as he was about to walk away until he looked back at the girl.
"It's okay, I got her, I'll be fine." She said. "Could you hold my groceries for me at least?"
The man nodded as he took her groceries and stayed in a little shop looking out the window. It was raining still and he was worried for the girl for what if she got sick?
The girl was soaking wet until she didn't feel water droplets falling on her. Looking up, she saw the man holding the umbrella over her.
"Sorry-I just worry about you catching a cold out here." He said shyly.
"Really sir, I'm fine." The girl said.
Police sirens were heard as they came. The officers came and arrested the lady for assault and stalking.
"Excuse me sir what's your name?" The officer asked the man.
"My name is Lee Pace. Lee Grinner Pace."
"Oh, I knew you looked familiar! Didn't you play that boy, Ned from Pushing Daisies?"
The man nodded as the officer smiled. "Yeah my kids, my wife and I enjoyed that show. Too bad ya'll ended on season 2? Anyway, do you know who that lady was?"
"N-no, I was just chilli in my house and she seemed to be peeking through my kitchen window. I ignored it for I thought it was my imagination until they sent me pictures of me sleeping." He ranted.
"Alright, and question, why didn't you report it?"
"I didn't want them to be arrested, because they were obviously a fan but I was freaked out and I planned on going to. I came out for some groceries until I felt someone following me and next thing I know I was pulled into the alley and she tried getting me to kiss her and such." He said quickly. "Thankfully this young girl, she-" the man chuckled some. "She swung her grocery bag at the lady and pinned her down."
"And what's your name miss." He asked the girl.
"My name is Mia." The girl said.
