Staying at her place

Lee noticed the car slowly following him and began to panic as he tried to cross the street. The car swerved around him, blocking him in the middle of the road. The car door was about to open and Lee ran around it as he ran as fast as he could. The car seemed to be following him and he ran for his life.

Mia's phone rang as she opened her eye from her nap.

"Hello?"

"MIA! CALL THE POLICE PLEASE!"

"Woah woah woah, why what's happening? Are you okay?" Mia asked getting up as his desperation in his voice woke her up fully.

"N-no, there's this car following me. A black van and it blocked me in the middle of the road while I was jogging. It's still behind me no matter how much I run!" He said breathlessly.

"Run into the nearest store or building okay. I'll call the police."

"Oh my God, it's parked outside the store I'm in. Please help!" He said quickly and nervously.

"Okay okay, my sister Emily is calling them right now. What store are you in?"

"erm, I'm in old navy right now. I'm hiding in a dressing room."

Mia could hear him breathing heavily as he sounded stressed.

"Oh-could I stay with you or could you stay with me at my place? Please." Be said basically begging. "I would've called Tom but he's in London."

"Yeah, you can stay with Emily and I. We'll come by to come get you."

Lee nodded as he stayed on the phone with her. The police arrived and walked into the store. Lee was led out safely as they told the person who drove the van that they were illegally parking. Lee was led out from the back door of old navy as Mia and Emily waited for him. She had brought her umbrella and some sunglasses for him as well as a beanie.

"Here put this on. Before we go home, we have to go buy some new socks."

"Okay." Lee whispered. "Wait I would have to go get some clothes."

"Don't worry, just give me your address so while we shop, I can run by your place and grab a suitcase of clothes for you." Emily said.

Lee nodded as Emily went to his place,
Mia hugged Lee as he hugged back. Quickly, they shopped for cute socks as Mia bought some with stripes, some with crescent moons on them as well as some with constellations that reached up to under her knee caps.

She decided to secretly buy Lee some socks as she bought him some with a triangle like pattern on them. Once they arrived at Mia's and Emily's apartment. Benny greeted them but sniffed Lee. He smiled as Benny barked happily. When Lee looked up, he saw the apartment as it was small but cozy.

"Okay so you can take my bed if you'd like. I could share a bed with Emily."

Lee nodded as he strolled his suitcase in Mia's room. There were posters of Star Wars, invader zim, and some anime posters. He looked at her tv to see it paused on a scene of the third episode of the second season of Pushing Daisies as it was the part where Ned and Emerson were tied to a chair.

Lee giggled some as he set his stuff down. "I remember shooting that scene. It was funny. I was tied to a chair and forgot my line because I was staring out into space."

I laughed. "Yeah I started watching it today. Really a funny show. It started on the first episode so I recorded them."

Lee smiled as he sat down on Mia's bed as they continued watching it before Mia suggested them watching the whole thing just to tease Lee some as Lee laughed while seeing himself on screen.
