So today is the day of the competition me and liz were so excited for this that we didn't sleep the whole night, its 6 am now and we are asked to gather around the podium at 6.30.

There are 7 sections participating today A E M N T S O random arrangement I guess, once we both reached there I can see dean and Sid standing there "well good morning ladies" Sid greeted us with his usual warm smile.

"what's so good morning, when I need to see your face at this early "dean said directing his words towards me. I was ready to strangle him to death when Liz holded me back and pointed towards something, there on a small stage a guy was holding a mike and was blabbering something.

we went near the stage, as we got near we heard the words "gather around students, so as you know this is a healthy competition so enjoy, don't cheat or cause any harm, there will be four rounds, Location of the next task will be given to you once you complete the previous one. so for 1st round you have to jog 6 km around the campus and come back here. whichever team completes the game first will win. Take 2 minutes and decide who will attempt this round".

"I will do it" Sid said and no one objected. And game begins now. After 20 minutes or so we can see Sid coming back with full speed very few sweat broke out his forehead "well done "there were cheers around from our classmate particularly girls who I don't know how they did full blown makeup so early in the morning.

Well your next task is this coordinator said handing us an envelope "location room no 303 G2 building. And we sprinted off towards the room. "the card also says, this is team task "once we entered the room we heard the click and the room was locked light went off "what the hell "dean exclaimed.

"let's find something anything at all" Sid said and with our flash light we started searching "here there is something, oh this a escape room guys we need to find the key" Liz said. "there's a riddle looking everything in the darkness won't lead you to where you belong, search within yourself f and you might see the light burning within you" Liz read out loudly.

"what this supposed to mean" Sid asked "light within you something with us something something "I wondered "wait Sid do you have the letter from earlier with you?" I asked "yes here it is ".."I think there is something here, I am sure "I said "let me look at this "dean said putting the flashlight under the paper and for sure there is something written "very well indeed, to see within yourself, to attain success, step back the way you came from" dean read out "step back.. you come from come in... let's look at the door "Liz said and we started searching and for sure there is a key just under the door frame. "obvious, we humans don't look at the question for answers "I thought and again we were successful.

There's a note stuck outside our door "next location volleyball ground; task : 1 person". We sprinted towards the ground and to our horror there was a path of real burning coal and it was written on the sign to cross the road to pass this task. "what the hell they were thinking putting up this round.

"there might be some catch "whispered dean muttering to himself... for few minutes we were out of the solution and then it strikes me "fan there is fan all around the area.. bring them here I think I know how to do it"I said.

"what are you doing parv? are you mad? you will burn your foot "Liz said angrily "don't do it "Sid said "I will do it "dean said to my astonishment "no trust me bring the fan and put it in front of fire I will be okay "I replied and they started bringing the fan.

Till now 2 more group have catched up with us and watching us... they are confused too. after few minutes I started walking on it. "it hurts still, but not that much that it is unbearable" as I crossed it no one still now understands but as I was trying to move forward my foot gave a sting and I lost my balance and suddenly again dean was at my side carrying me towards the watcher benches.

He put me down and started seeing my feet "you are an absolutely fool and full of arrogance what do you think of yourself super women "he barked at me "are you okay how there is no burn marks "Liz asked "fan let the coal burn more quickly and due to this ash came out insulating the heat" dean replied not meeting my eyes.

"let's go now there is one more round left location lab 007" we again sprinted towards it "there the judges were waiting and we were told that only 2 participants allowed" you have to crack the college firewall while defending your own system" till now we were joined by two teams who copied our solution.

I volunteered for defending and dean is going to attack we started a ferocious coding against our team M and N are neck to neck "Patil let go of defend for exact 5 sec" dean said "what" "trust me" and I don't know why I let go "there was an exception which came into every computer who are defending.

which distracted the other teams and dean was able to break in. We WON" I jumped up and instantly hugged the living body beside me aka Dean. I let go immediately when I realized I hug the most annoying man I ever know but this was not the only thing that was shocking, For the first time of me knowing him he was out of words, my embarrassment was long forgotten and I couldn't help laughing out loud.
