Being kissed by Jeffrey as I made coffee in the morning was something I didn't know I needed so much. It was calming and comforting. Being there in the kitchen with him, me in my panties and a large shirt and Jeffrey in his jeans and naked upper body made me feel comfortable. I hadn't felt like that with a man in so many years and I hoped nothing would change. We talked a lot the other day. He told me how he hoped that I wouldn't change my mind, he kept asking me if I was sure about us. I promised myself and him and I wouldn't fuck it up again because a man like him was rare; not many men had so many positive traits like he did. Jeffrey was someone you didn't want to lose.
''What do you want to eat?'' I turned to the fridge and opened it.
''Whatever you're having'' he smiled as he leaned against the counter.
''Oatmeal, banana, peanut butter and a bit of sticky honey from my momma?'' my mouth watered at the thought of ecological honey from my mom's store. She and Steve, my stepfather, owned a little store where she sold homemade honey along with other things. I had to call her later, let her know I was coming over sometime very soon.
''I'll have to visit your mother's store soon then'' he winked at me and I was excited to take him there. ''When do you have to leave for work?''.
I looked at the clock and rolled my eyes. ''One hour, fuck''.
''You go get ready and I'll make the food''.
''You sure?''.
''Yes, move it'' he slapped my ass and I headed towards the bathroom with the biggest, stupidest smile on my face. Jeffrey Dean Morgan was half naked in my kitchen making breakfast. I had been blessed, bitches.

''Ugh, these are so damn worn out they look disgusting'' I looked at my white Converse - now almost dark grey. ''Maybe I should wear something else today''.
''I'll get you a new pair if you come with me to the premiere'' Jeffrey spoke from behind where he stood against the wall and waited for me with his hands in his pockets. He kept talking about the Hideaway Joe premiere and how he wanted me to come with him, that we didn't have to tell people or act like there was something between us, that we could be there as friends. I kept telling him that I'd think about it but he freaking loved insisting.
''What are you, my sugar daddy? I can buy my own shoes, baby'' I winked at him.
''I'm not trying to be your sugar daddy, I'm tryna be your man''. Something about those words made me all giddy inside; he wanted to be my man. My man.
But wasn't he already? What else was missing for him to see himself as my boyfriend? Maybe it was too early in the relationship. Was it even a relationship? It had to be, we talked about it the other night after he put me in my place.
''I think you already are'' I said with courage, heart beating fast in my chest for some reason. Jeffrey's face went serious before he approached me and kissed me hard, fingers entangled in my hair. ''Let's go out tonight'' I smirked.
''Yeah?'' he pulled me closer into him and I nodded. ''A date? You're full of surprises, doll''.
''Well trust me, you are too'' images of last night flooded my mind and my core heated up in less than a second. Ugh, the things he did to me. ''8 tonight? Can I decide where we eat?''.
''Of course you can. Now get your ass to work before you're late'' he laughed as he turned around to open the door.
''See you tonight, princess'' he kissed my forehead before we each got into our cars and drove away.
On my way to work I decided to call my mom.
''Good morning, honey'' she answered happily, her voice giving me a feeling of security; she was the most important person in my life.
''Mornin' momma. How are you?''.
''I'm great, I just got at the store, about to open. How's my baby?''.
''I'm good, very good. I just wanted to let you know I'm coming over tomorrow and I'm probably bringing my boyf- my friend, Jeffrey''. I didn't know if I was supposed to refer to him as my boyfriend yet.
''Oh honey, I can't wait to see you. And who's this Jeffrey boy?'' she asked. Boy? No momma, he was a man - a real man.
''Jeffrey Dean Morgan, you know that name?'' there was silence for a second and I knew she was trying to remember where she'd heard about him.
''Honey I can't put my finger on it. Tell me''.
''Patrick from The Accidental Husband''. She gasped. Of course she knew, we watched that movie so many times when I was younger.
''Honey, how wonderful. So glad you're meeting new people'' she sounded so happy; her happiness was my happiness.
''Mom'' I started, unsure about if I should tell her what was on my mind. ''Jeffrey...I'm in love with him''.
''You are? Is it mutual?'' he voice became softer than usual and I knew she had tears in her eyes.
''It's mutual, yes. He, uhm, spent the night at my place''.
''Hazel, I am so happy to hear that, you have no idea. I cannot wait to meet him''. I knew she was happy for me because she knew what I had been through; the same happened to her with my father who cheated on her when I was only five. Now Steve loved her better than anyone else and I had never seen her happier than she was now.
''He's so charming, you're gonna love him'' I smiled to myself as I thought about Jeffrey. My Jeffrey.
