I woke up in a bed that wasn't mine, still it was familiar. Looking around I realized I was in Tay's guest bedroom so I sighed in relief; I couldn't remember much of what happened after midnight last night, but I bet I was at Tay's because she lived closer. Checking myself in the mirror I realized that I had no makeup on, so I smiled to myself, happy that even at my drunkest I still remembered to take my makeup off.

I went to see if Tay was still asleep, so I carefully opened the door to her bedroom to see her fast asleep, snoring her lungs out. Smiling, I headed to the kitchen to make coffee and breakfast for the two of us.

''Good morning'' I head a male's voice from over the sofa. Jumping in horror, I looked towards the sofa only to see...Jeffrey. He was laughing his ass off and I just stood there, still terrified. What was he doing there though? Did I sleep with him? No, couldn't be. I'd remember that. Oh my god, did Tay sleep with him?

''Jeffrey! You scared the shit out of me. What are you doing here?'' I finally got myself to continue walking after being frozen in place.

''Yeah, I noticed that. The look on your face was priceless'' he smiled.

''Hah, I bet I looked heavenly'' I answered sarcastically. ''So did you and Tay...you know...?'' I asked, no shame whatsoever that I was asking him that.

He looked confused at first, but then realized what I meant. ''Oh, if we had sex? No, hun'' he laughed. ''Last night when I offered to grab us a cab your friend offered a place to sleep for the night''.

''Yeah, I always sleep over here when we're out and closer to her place'' I explained as I pressed the start button on the coffee machine and started boiling some eggs. ''Do you live far from here?''.

''Central Park South, kinda far from here, yeah. Just moved into an apartment there'' he explained as he searched his jacket for his cigarettes and what seemed to be his glasses. ''Gonna grab a smoke'' he said as he headed towards the balcony. ''Care to join me?''.

''I'll be there in one second'' I said as I wanted to wait for the coffee. I loved having my coffee as I smoked. Grabbing two cups, I poured the amazing black liquid into them, the rest waiting for Tay.

I grabbed my cigarettes and entered the balcony. Jeffrey had taken his seat on one of the chairs and was enjoying his cigarette when I placed a cup of coffee on the table in front of him.

''It's hot, so be careful'' I warned him

''It's hot, so be careful'' I warned him.

''For me?'' he looked at me with big eyes and I nodded. ''Thank you, darling''. Ugh, he kept calling me hun, darling; did I like it or did I want him to stop? Fuck knew.

''Breakfast is coming soon too'' I informed.

''Oh damn, no, don't worry about it. I'll leave after the coffee, I don't want to bother'' he smiled sweetly.

''You're not bothering at all. Trust me, Tay must be as happy as ever to have someone so known in her apartment. She's going to tell everyone that Jeffrey Dean Morgan slept in her couch''.

His eyes went wide and then started laughing heartily, which was pleasant to see; it meant he felt comfortable.

''This is some strong shit'' he said after taking a sip of the black coffee.

''Hell yeah, I like my stuff strong''.

''I love it'' he smirked. ''So where do you live, if I may ask?''.

''AVA High Line'' I answered.

''Oh, that's like what, 10 minutes away from me''. I nodded. ''I could drive you home if you want''.

''That's nice, thank you. So you left your car at the pub?'' I asked and he nodded. ''We've only got like five minutes to walk so we're good''.

''Yeah, that's good because my headache is getting stronger and stronger'' his facial expression became more serious.

''Mine too. Let me grab us some Advil and breakfast''.

''Let me help'' he said, but I could tell his headache was worse than mine so I told him to stay put.

''You almost made these eggs hard as a stone'' I hear Tay speak and I see her peeling the eggs.

''I almost forgot about them. When did you wake up? Why didn't you join us?''.

''Just a few minutes ago. I didn't want to be a cock-blocker''.

''What? Why would you be that? Come on, let's have breakfast all three'' I said as I hugged her.

''Babe, he is the ultimate beauty, a real professional at taking titty shots and a gentleman at the same time. One who seems interested in you'' she said and I furrowed my eyebrows. ''I would love to see you two get to know each other better, you know?''.

''Tay, baby, I only met him yesterday. And I really don't want that'' I spoke. ''You know I don't. He is a really fun person to be around and I'd love to be friends with him though'' I continued, hoping that she'd stop with what she was doing.

We ate breakfast together and had a good laugh. Jeffrey was indeed a fun guy and everything he said was interesting to listen to. When he drove me home we had the biggest carpool karaoke, like we were the best of friends. He was such a likable person that it felt like we were already friends or like we had been friends for years.

''This is me'' I said as I pointed at the building I lived in. ''Thank you for giving me a lift, I appreciate it'' I smiled.

''That's not a problem at all. I haven't sung my lungs out like that in a long time'' he laughed.

''It's the best thing to do during car rides''.

''Indeed it is''.

''I gotta go take a shower, I feel sticky and disgusting'' I made a disgusted face, making Jeffrey laugh. ''Thanks again, it means a lot'' I smiled.

''It was my pleasure'' he looked at me as I stepped out of the car. ''By the way'' he said and I turned to look at him. ''...good party, doll''.
