Chapter 13

(A week later)

"I'm going out," I tell Damien as I changed into a tank top

"Where will I find you?" He asks me

"Either with the guards or Old Major," I tell him

"Okay," he puckers his lips

I lean up on my tippy toes and kiss his lips softly, "I'm stealing Baby Bear,"

"Could you stop calling him that?" Damien's eyes show little drops of red

"Uh...no," I say turning around to leave

Damien grabs my waist pulling me against him, "I want to meet Jasmine," he says

"Okay, tomorrow or later today?" I ask him

"Um, tomorrow since you'll be out all day," he tells me

I nod and try to get out of his grip, accident my brushing against his crotch. He growls in my ear, "Summer,"

I squeak closing my legs tightly as I stood, "I-"

"I smell you," he says

My face burns, "I'm your mate, of course you smell me," I play stupid

"I smell your arousal, mate," He tells me

"Don't go around growling, then," I mumble, "I need to go,"

I get out of his grip easily since it had slacked. I smile at him.

"See you later, babe," I wave to him as I step out of the door

"Bear!" I yell out for Koda

"Kitchen!" I hear him yell

I skip down the stairs and into the kitchen, bumping him with my hip, saying hello.

He was cutting some fruits for me, since I happen to be a big fan of fruits.

"Veronica!" I call

She soon comes bowing her head, "Yes, Luna?" She asks

"Can you please finish cutting these fruits for Koda?" I ask her politely

"Yes, Luna," she moves beside Koda before he moves she takes his spot and starts cutting the rest of the fruit

Koda takes off his red apron and hangs in on one of the hooks.

"Where are we going?" He asks me

"Out," I grab his hand passing the stairs to see Damien walking down them

"Summer," he says

"Dami," I sing making Koda snort quietly

"You have terrible nicknames for everyone," he says softly to me

"Shut up before I make you wear green," I tell him

His eyes widen and he presses his lips into a straight line bowing his head. He absolutely hates green.

"Your holding hands," Damien says

I raise my friend's hand in mine, "So?"  I ask my mate raising an eyebrow

"Can you not?" He asks

I smack my lips, "No, not really," I challenge him

He comes to me and wraps a hand around my throat but not in a painful way, just showing his dominance.

"Can you not?" He asks again in my ear

I squeeze Koda's hand knowing Damien was looking at it, "Nope," I pop the 'p'

His other hand trails to my butt, squeezing it, making me squeak.

"Can you not?" He asks again

"Fine," I tell him

He let's me go and I lick my lips but keep Koda's hand in mine. I drop his hand instead standing beside him and wrapping my arm around his waist in a friendly gesture.

"Summer," his eyes start turning red

"Let me talk to Dominic," I tell

He rolls his eyes before his eyes turn fully red. I stand in front of mate looking up at him after letting Koda go.

"Atop being so jealous. Y'know it gets annoying and even Jasmine gets annoyed," I tell him

'Liar' Jasmine says in my head

"Really?" He asks and his lips slightly dip into a small frown

"No," I say making a small sigh of relief leave his lips, "To Jasmine it's not annoying, but it's starting to seriously piss me off," I tell him

I watch him bare his canines and I smile at him watching him calm. He hugs me to him before putting his lips to my ear.

"Don't step boundaries, because I don't care how annoyed you get, I will follow you around," Dominic tells me

"You have to go Alpha," I tell him pulling away with a small smirk

"That is not a thing," he tells me

"If you say so," I lift my hands in defense before grabbing Koda's hand and leaving the house.
