Chapter 19

"You've got a lot of explaining to do," Damien says darkly

"So I have to leave?" I ask him

"Unless you want to explain in front of everyone," He proposes

"Yep, everyone downstairs now," I say and everyone leaves as Damien puts me on the ground

I move to walk past him feeling his hand smack my butt hard. We walk to the living room where everyone was sitting and waiting for us, "You ask and I explain,"

"Why did it take you so long to tell me?" Damien asks

"Personally, I don't like you-" I start earning me a sharp glare from Damien seeing specks of red within his eyes, "I'm joking, calm yourself. I just had to wait until Jasmine saw it was fit to tell you, which was after you marked me, but I fell asleep and I shifted the next day,"

"So you don't trust me?" he asks

"Did I say that?" I deadpan bending my head to each side after each word mockingly 

Damien glared at me, 'Wait 'till we get back home' he mouths to me slightly scaring me

"Any other questions, or are you leaving, now?" I ask him

Before Damien could say anything, Hunter interjected, "You really need to stop being so rude, because I would let him discipline you right here,"

My mouth opened like a fish, "Seriously?" I ask my brother who nods, "Why such a great brother you are," 

"I am being quite awesome huh?" he asks holding a hand under his chin making me roll my eyes

"Why didn't you ask before you left?" Damien asks

"Why would I ask if you're ignoring me? To read your thoughts?" I ask sarcastically only for my throat to grabbed and for Damien to pull me closer

"Stop being a brat before we just leave now," he mumbles quietly and I nod

I sit back down where I was and Hunter shook his head, "Your skin is already red," He tells me

Everyone glares at Damien, but I say something before they can, "My skin is still sensitive from my shift," I tell them immediately standing directly in front of Damien

"I think you should still let me just give him a smack," Emily says

"I think you should let me rip you apart limb by limb," I retort making everyone smirk in my direction, "I'm confused, why are you guys smiling?" 

"Well just because, you just proved to us exactly how strong your mate bond is," Tristain says

"So?" I ask

"You never wanted a mate in the first place," Evelyn says

"Oh, big deal, I care about him," I roll my eyes

I heard squeals and I was soon pulled from in front of Damien and tackled to the floor in a giant group hug, "I'm about to throw you guys off of me," I mumble

"Yeah right," Tristain mumbles

"Tris, you're first," I say

Everyone quickly gets off of me and I dust the invisible dust off myself.

"So when do we get to see your second shift?" Emily asks

"Get me a bath and a bikini top and we're good," I tell her

Both her and Evelyn go running up the stairs and I turn to Damien and sitting in front of him, he looked down at me with a blank face, "I'm sorry," I say quietly, "But I had to respect Jasmine's decision,"

"I'm not mad, I've known somethings up since the day the rogue attacked," he says, "And I heard you and Koda talking later that day,"

"Are you still mad?" I ask him

He slowly shakes his head and I wrap my arms around his waist as he pulls me onto his lap.

"Cute," Hunter says sarcastically making me send him the bird

Emily and Evelyn come back down before everyone follows us upstairs to the bathroom with the bath. I put on the bikini top under my shirt before pulling shirt off. I told the boys turn around and they did as I took off my pants and underwear, getting into the bath.

They turned back around as my legs started webbing together before turning into my orange scaly tail.

Everyone was now around the rim of the bath tub looking at my tail. I parted the water so they could see it properly and some even bent to touch it, "Slimy," Tristain says with a disgusted face pressing his fingers open and closed

Everyone laughed at him before we drained the tub and I got out and got dressed.

"Has she broken any of your alarm clocks?" Evelyn asks

Proudly I shake my head, "I don't even need it,"

"You would probably sleep all day without an alarm clock," Tristain says

"Nope, he wakes me up, and sometimes I just wake up by myself," I tell him

"Congrats," Hunter says sarcastically earning him a punch from me, "You need to understand that this is abuse and you can't do it,"

I stick out my tongue at him putting my hand to the side of my face, mocking him.

"We need to go now," Damien mumbles to me

"I know this may hurt your feelings, but we need to go because Damien is alergic to dumb asses," I send them a big smile only to get a playful scowl back from them, "Bye," I hug all of them before Damien, Koda and I go to Damien's car and get in with Damien driving back to the pack

We say bye to Koda and go to our room seeing it was dark outside now.

"Come here," Damien says as he sits on the bed

I go over to the side he is sitting on, only to be grabbed and pulled over his lap. He pulls down my pants before landing 20 hard smacks on my butt, "Next time, don't keep things from me," he says, "That was all Dominic by the way," he adds

I nod and change before laying on my side of the bed as he gets on his. I close my eyes as Damien pulls me close to him.

"Good night," I mumble

"Good night, babe,"
