Chapter 11

I wake up and groan realizing Damien and I were in the same position as yesterday.

"Damien," I say as I roll to poke his face like I did yesterday

"5 more minutes," he groans pulling me closer by my waist

"Fine," I say before closing my eyes as I snuggled into my mate

I'm so confused...

I thought he said he didn't want me, but now he holds me down in his bed in the mornings?

'Maybe he's giving this a try. It isn't just your spirit animals that are mated but your actual spirits as well' Jasmine says

'When should we tell him?' I ask my fox

'After he marks you'

'We've got 3 weeks before we have our heat and our shift where we will suffer a lot, so I suggest he marks me before that, so I'm not in as much pain, but I don't know if-'

My sentence was cut off when I felt Damien's mouth graze my neck. His mouth opened and his teeth graze my skin as if he were debating on whether to mark me. 

It wouldn't fully mark me, but it would stop my heat and our bond will be stronger and begin pushing us to fully mate with each other.

"Can I mark you?" he whispers in my ear

"I'm confused," I say softly as we both slightly pull away from each other but stay in each other's arms, "You said you don't want me anyway, but you're...doing all this and I'm confused. So confused," I look up at him through my eye lashes

"I know. Maybe I should have said something before completely changing my demeaner," he says softly as his slightly minty breath fans my face

"So?" I ask him

"I want to...give this a shot. I mean our spirits are mated as well," he hovers over me with his arm beside my head

My eyes slide down to his torso without my permission making a chuckle erupt from my mate.

"Yeah, let's give this a shot," I nod looking up at his brown eyes

He slowly leans down capturing my lips in his own. My eyes flutter shut as I kiss him back before we pull away just staring at each other. 

"Don't forget we're going shopping today, and I'm picking your outfit," he gets off of me

"I don't think you need to pick my outfit, let alone take me shopping," I tell him as I sit up

"I want to take you shopping, dear, and you cannot wear the same thing everyday," he tells me, "And Autumn is coming and you don't have enough clothing for it,"

"I have 5 orange hoodies, 5 pairs of thick wooled leggings, and 3 pairs of jeans. I'll be perfectly fine for Autumn and have the perfect amount of clothing," I tell him

"Now how many and what do you have for summer and spring?" he asks me

"I have 23 orange tank tops, 16 pairs of black shorts, 10 orange short sleeved shirts, and 10 pairs of biker shorts," I tell him, "Oh and I have an orange crop top,"

"You are not an orange and don't need to wear it all the time and you should have the same amount of clothes for each season," he tells me

"You sound like Tristan," I groan lying back down in his bed and getting under the covers.

"Come on, you need to get ready," he says

"5 more minutes," I mumble turning on my stomach and take my head out from under the blankets

I was soon picked up and lifted out of bed, carried to my room and placed in the bathroom, "Get ready, and I'm not asking," Damien says as he starts closing the door

"Get ready, and I'm not asking," I mimic in a high pitched voice

"Summer," Damien warns from outside the door

"Summer," I mimic in a high pitched voice unbuttoning my shirt

"Whatever," Damien grumbles and I hear his footsteps recede

I let out a short giggle before taking off my shorts and underwear and turn on the shower, before getting in. 

I finish and brush my teeth and hair before sticking my head if the bathroom to see if Damien was near by before walking out, holding my towel over my chest. He laid out a pair of jeans and an orange tanktop with matching undergarments.

He really went and found my underwear to lay it out for me...

I laugh to myself before putting lotion on and dried my hair before putting the outfit on and looking in the mirror as I mess with my hair.

Not my usual style, but it's okay.
