Their parents come and witness a heart breaking scene in front of them. Yunlan was lying unconscious on the floor having Yezun in his embrace and drops of blood are dripping from Yezun's mouth, their parents' gets terrified and quickly tend towards them.
They rushed them to hospital, doctor checks and declared that they need emergency surgery. After some preparations the surgery starts but outside the rooms their parents pray and are dead worried for their children.
"Don't worry nothing happened to them"...Yunlan's father patted the other with worry and the latter just nods silently. They sat outside in the ward and seconds passed by hours for them. In the room doctors are trying their best to save both of them. Suddenly Yezun's body stops reacting and the machine start to beep abruptly...
"Pump his heart hurry"...The one doctor orders his assistant and he start to pump his heart but no avail he didn't respond and on the other side Yunlan's operation was going on smoothly with little difficulties.
After six hours of surgery the doctors finally came out of Yunlan's room. His parents tends to the doctors and asks about his health impatiently..
"Don't worry the operation is successful but we keep him under observation for few days and it takes some time to gain consciousness"...doctor assured them but the surgery of Yezun is still going after another one hour the doctors came out and the main doctor calls them in his office...
"I don't want to scare you but also want you to know everything. Yezun's blood cells began to reduce, his brain gets weak and if the white blood cells keep on reducing he may die"...the doctor informs them with worry then he continue...
"We try our best and obviously, it will take some time to recover. Blood tests need to be done from time to time. Have faith in God, miracles happen"
Yezun's father sighs deeply and looks upward like he is praying...
"Yes God can produce light even in the darkest moments, He knows the benefits"
" If he survives this surgery then we may needs another surgery of his brain after some time, till then we keep him in ICU and Yunlan is shifted to the ward within few hours you can meet him"...The doctor excused himself and Yezun's father gets devastated and hugs Yunlan's father, he cries bitterly
He goes to ICU room and sees his son from the door with Yunlan's parents they comfort hin and after sometime Yunlan's parents went to Yunlan's room as he was now shifted in the ward room. Yunlan wakes up after 2 days of unconscious state, he open his eyes slowly and looked in the room. His parents were there and they tend to him quickly, Yunlan was trying to speak...
"Da....d!...Ye..."...His eyes gets closed again. His father calls for the doctor quickly, he checks him and told his parents that no need to worry he is fine now. His body is tired because of the complicated surgery, he wake up soon. Again one day passed finally Yunlan open his eyes a little and hears his parents...
"Yunlan....my son, are you okay. Open your eyes"
"Yez...un..."...Yunlan remembers his bride's condition.
He closed his eyes and sleeps again. After some hours he finally open his eyes and sees his concerned parents and this time his father in law was also present there and greets him...
"Hello, son how are you feeling now? Get well soon my son"...Yezun's father caresses his face and forehead gently and a tear drops from his eyes. He quickly steps back and went outside crying. Yunlan senses something wrong and asked his father...
"Yezun... where... is my... Yezun dad"
He looked at his mother and asked her again..."Mo...m! Where is he? Is he...okay? I...want to...see him"
"He is fine don't worry, at first you have to take care of yourself then you become able to take care of Yezun right?"...Yunlan's mom try to comfort him because he becomes restless for seeing his beautiful angel, his father comes forward and holds Yunlan's hand...
"All the doctors are sure that both of you will be perfectly fine. Are you okay"...He politely asked him and he nods yes
"I wat....water...water"...Yunlan said with weak voice
"Okay don't sleep I bring you water"
Yezun's condition worsens suddenly in ICU, his already weak breathing becomes heavy and machines start beeping again and he murmured a name...
"Yunlan...Yu..."...By saying this everything becomes silent. Yunlan suddenly open his eyes and he shouts loudly..."YEZUN"
His heart is restless and concerned about his love partner, he try to getup abruptly and shouts his name again...
"Yezun...he is not okay mom"...Yunlan was crying, he senses that Yezun is not okay..."Dad please let me see him for once, my heart is restless for him"...finally his dad agrees and takes him to Yezun where some doctors gathered around him. Yunlan and their parents see through the door what happened inside...
"Dad what happened? Why the doctors seem worried?"...Yunlan looked at his father and said with crying, his heart drops for unknown reason. Doctors come out and went away without saying anything except the last one; he comes out and said a short sentence which wipes away all the happiness of Yunlan...
"I am sorry"
Yunlan's mom runs inside and holds Yezun's lifeless hand, she cries looking at his angelic beautiful face even in this severe illness his beauty never fades. He captures her heart in this short span of time and becomes his beloved son.
"My Yezun"...she covered her mouth with her hands
Everyone else was outside the room and didn't come inside, after a minute yunlan's father comes inside with devastated state. Yunlan is like, his soul left his body with Yezun and he runs to him but Yezun's father stand still and falls on the floor crying, covering his mouth with palms.
Yunlan looks at his dad and wants to say something but words stuck in his throat. He looked again at his mother then at lifeless Yezun.
"Why this happens?"...He panics and looked here and there in the room. He points towards Yezun and then again looks at his parents being all devastated and broken. He cupped Yezun's face and a drop of tear fell on the pale cheek of the other person on bed.
"Wake up my sleeping beauty"
