"My dad neglected me to make you stronger!" These words were repeating in my mind. After Lexter talked in such a way, we didn't even speak a word. I didn't even have the willpower to look at him. I realized that my power was not strong enough. The water was turning back into the lava. I changed myself into my eagle form. I changed Lexter too, even when he didn't ask me for it. I flew far away. I turned back to have a glance at Lexter. To my surprise, he was following me. I didn't speak any word. I flew and sat on a truccle tree. It was quite unbelievable that the Truccle tree was in Ardian. I thought it was the only species in Crustel. I sat on its branch and turned into my human form. In a few minutes, Lexter sat at the branch which was beside mine. I turned him into his human form yet we didn't talk to each other. I looked at the ground.
A Sling was eating a banana. I noticed that my amulet was still glowing but in green. I knew that it was a message from the future. I slide down through the branches and landed on the ground. The Sling ran away as it was frightened. I saw Lexter was keeping an eye on me. I ignored him and started walking far from him. I saw a cave. I went in. The moment I closed my eyes, I saw visions. It was about me being all alone and someone was saving me. The face wasn't revealed. When I was trying to take off the person's mask, the vision faded. The moment I opened my eyes, my amulet was glowing in purple again. I didn't know what was it about. To my horror, a bunch of slings were surrounding me. I was startled. I could understand their animal language because it was one of Crustelicians powers.
"So, this is the girl who scared you?" One sling asked the one which was holding a banana. I gulped. "Yes, mommy!" It told us it was about to cry. I looked around to find a way to escape. I was too unlucky that every sling was surrounded. I was totally freaked out. "I didn't scare you on purpose, Mr Sling!" I told worriedly. I heard one talking with the sling with banana. "How dare she calls us Sling! Let's seize her and leave her with our Head! Disgusting Humans!" It said. I was quite outraged. "Hey! Who you think you're calling Disgusting Human? You Sling! I will tell it hundred times. Slings. Slings. Slings!" I shouted but after that, I realized that my brain and my mouth lost coordination. "Ooops!" I whispered. I was able to see the fierce in them.
One sling pointed something towards me. I felt some sort of strange pain. That was the last thing I remembered. I fainted. The moment I opened my eyes, I saw someone wearing a black mask. His eyes were silver and blue. I tried to get up but I was too weak. "Who are you?" I asked. The person didn't answer me. I tried my best to get up but I couldn't. Suddenly, "Here! Drink this. You will feel better!" He said calmly. The voice was familiar. Without suspecting, I drank the soup. It was too bitter. "Water! I need water," I yelped. He immediately gave me some freshwater. I noticed the chain on his neck. The moment I drank freshwater, I felt slightly better. I was able to sit. "I know who you are!" I said arrogantly. "I know you will find out," He smirked as he took off his mask. It was Lexter. "You hated me! Why did you save me?" I asked him.
"Don't dare to ask any more questions. Now follow me!" He commanded. (You know right when someone says don't do, we tend to do it) "Why shouldn't I ask? It's unfair, Lexter," I said. He rolled his eyes and started packing his things into a bag. "Where did you get that bag?" I asked him. "Please! I beg you. Stop talking and asking questions. I don't know why I had to save you! I wanted to see those slings eat you alive but something hit me." His words were hurting. I stayed quiet. He helped me to stand and walk for a while. After I regained my energy, he told me to follow him as he gave me all of his kinds of stuff. They were uncanny. We walked so far till Lexter stopped in front of a gorgeous waterfall. I couldn't take off my eyes from it. "Put those things there! We have to stay here for a night!" He commanded. "What? Where are we going? I have to save my friends. I can't sleep here!" I asked him. He shooed. "You just listen to me! Answer me, when I ask you questions. Never question back!" He barked. I was puzzled by his sudden weird activities.
The moment I met him, he was completely a different person. Now, he was unbelievable. I went near the waterfall. Then, I had an idea. I chanted a spell that was special for Erica and me. We would be able to communicate with water. I touched the water, "Erica, are you guys safe?" I moved backwards after sending the message. In a few seconds, I saw a clear image of them. They were safe but they were in an unknown place. To my dismay, Erica wasn't able to receive my message. Fortunately, I could hear their conversations. "I wonder where would Cora be?" That was certainly Ethan. "I miss her. She always gives the best ideas." That was a dramatic compliment from Kanyal. All I could do was laugh. "Guys, where are we? We couldn't find a way to save Prince Melyon and of course Cora!" That was Erica. All of sudden, I felt someone pressing my shoulder. "AAHH!" I screamed. Then, I realized that it was just Lexter. "You scared me!" I told him while taking his hands off.
