Part 1

~TW: depressive thoughts and mentions of anxiety~

Connors POV

Great. It's the first day of college and I have to share a dorm with Jared Kleinman. I can't stand him, what's even worst is he has a little sidekick, the anxious kid, Evan Hansen. So whoop-de-fucking-doo I just cant wait to be stuck in a dorm with him for the rest of the school year.

"Oh look Evan, it's the freak." Connor was jolted out of my thoughts when I saw two boys walk into the dorm.

"Hahaha that was hilarious Jared" Connor said in a cold sarcastic tone. Jared then rolled his eyes and pulled Evan into his room

Evans POV

"Ja- Jared, you don't hav- have to be so me- mean to hi-him" Evan said. "Well I'm not the one who looks like they can shoot up the whole campus, so I can say what I want, anyways Ev come and help me unpack these boxes"

Still Evans POV

Jared and I finally finished setting up his room, now all I have to do is set up my own room. But  it's really late so I'll just have to do it first thing in the morning. When I walked out of Jared's room though I heard muffled crying and cursing.

"Why... why did you do that, now he is gone.. he hates you Connor, he hates you" Connor said. That is when I knocked on the door... after many failed attempts due to my anxiety.

"GO AWAY CANT YOU HEAR THAT IM BUSY?"

"I-I...uh..um.. sorry... sorry... Ijustwantedtoseewhatswrongsinceyouareumcryingandnowimjustrambling" I then heard the door lock and that was my cue to leave their dorm.

Connors POV

I locked the door and sat back down. I was a mess, I don't even know why I cared, I don't why I said that. I then looked down at screen and saw the text I sent to my friend Miguel. 'Hey so you know we've been online friends for awhile would you want to meet up?' Which his reply was 'Dude, sorry I can't I'm going to my grandmas for a month and I can't get out of it this time'

He does this to me all the time, does he even want to meet up? Does he even like me? No no he doesn't he hates you, you already know that, why would he like you and why would he want to ever be your friend. You are just the loner that has no potential and no life.

And then I got a message on Instagram

From an account called 'TheTreeChild'

What do they want.
