The forest of Moonacre was a hive for all kinds of magic, calling upon serene creatures throughout the valley, bringing beings of all kinds of power to its trees: pixies, witches, goblins and fairies.

Rose had only dreamt about them in her books and finally as Maria and her walked deeper into the forest, did she truly start to believe.

Each had a home in Moonacre, just like the De Noir's had their castle and the Merryweather's had their mansion. The fairies had Foxglove Glade, which seemed to contain the very essence of beauty.

The further the two girls walked into the trees, the greater the distinction grew. With every step, it seemed as if a new foxglove bloomed from the ground, surrounding the girls in a whirlpool of indigos and violets.

Rose was speechless as the foxgloves breathed stardust in the evening glow. Sparkles surrounded the girls in the darkness of the forest and luminous purples lit up their path.

"It's beautiful", Rose gasped as she turned around to appreciate the scene. A little stream ran through the glade and quietly rang in her ear.

Rose wished Robin could be here with her now. She wanted more than anything to be held in his arms, watching the fairies dance around them. Now she knew he loved her, she allowed herself to imagine a future with him. She just prayed they managed to rescue him.

"How did you know where to find it?", Rose asked, still in awe of the glade. Maria turned to her sister and held her hand in hers.

"It seems that the longer we spend in Moonacre, the stronger our connection grows to it. You've been experimenting with your new powers, which has been something you've gained. Where as I, I believe to be getting these dreams. I have only had a few. I had one last night about you and Robin which is why I knew you were in trouble. However, a few nights ago, I had a strange dream about a path through the woods which led me to this glade. I thought nothing of it at the time, but earlier, I recognised the path. I think my dreams are visions, which the moon guides, it's helping us."

"It seems there is more we have yet to discover about being princesses of Moonacre. I wish Cornelia was here to help us", Rose sighed. Maria looked at her sympathetically, she had been told about Cornelia, and longed for herself to meet her, only she had the answers to their questions.

"So how are we going to get the dust?" Maria questioned. Rose looked around, digging for an answer. Every inch of her body ached and all she wanted to do was collapse on the floor. But she knew she mustn't. For the forest. For Robin.

Rose smiled as she thought of him, his big, hazel eyes staring into hers, lost in each other's.

As she wandered through the glade, brushing her fingertips against the delicate petals of the flowers. Their pollen glowing in the moonlight, lighting up the girls dirt stained faces, Rose thought of Robin. Was he alright? She thought. What had his father done to him? She prayed with all her might that they would find each other again.

Lost in her thoughts, Rose failed to see Maria wander into a ring of mushrooms. She suddenly heard a yelp coming from behind.

"Maria!"

Rose rushed towards her sister and found hot, foggy steam being blown at Maria from every angle. The mushrooms clearly enraged by the disturbance. "Ahhh!" Maria screamed, trying to shield herself from the steam.

Rose ran to grab Maria, but as soon as she touched the fog she pulled back her hand as it was boiling hot. Fairies by now had awoken and swarmed angrily around Maria.
