Janet

Emotions ran high as Toni opened the door. It took all I had not to break down on her doorstep.

Toni and I stared at each other for a good moment until Kenneth came up behind her.

"Oh hey Jan." He said.

"Hi." I sniffled and removed my eyes from Toni.

"Kenny, can we pick this up later? I'll call you." Toni said as she sighed.

"Yeah, I need to get going anyways. Both of you take care." He hugged the both of us then left.

"Can I come in?" I asked.

Toni moved out of the doorway and let me inside, she then closed the door and walked to the couch without saying one word.

I followed behind her and sat onto the couch. She wouldn't look at me, she kept her eyes glued to the floor.

"Toni, look at me please." I placed my hand onto her thigh.

"Just tell me what the deal is Janet." She removed my hand from her thigh.

"The deal? What do you mean?" I questioned.

"Do you want to be with me or not? Are you even over him?" Her eyes began to water.

"Toni, yes I want to be with you."

"It really doesn't seem like it." She wiped her eyes.

"I was drunk Toni. I swear I was. We started talking and he took what I said out of context. I was too far gone to control the way I responded. But when we kissed, it snapped me back to reality, I realized I didn't want what took place to happen again. I'm sorry Toni, it was honestly a mistake. I want to be with you, I swear." Tears were flowing down both of our faces.

"I don't care about the kiss Janet. Why did you lie to me?"

"I didn't want you to think anything of me and him having dinner. You were upset in the studio when he simply talked to me, there was no telling how you would react. But I swear to you Toni, I want you. Not him, not anybody else. I want you." I slowly placed my hand onto her thigh again, this time she didn't remove it.

"This may be a stretch but I hope you accept my apology." I said after a few moments of silence.

"I do, I forgive you." She nodded. She finally moved closer to me and looked me deeply into my eyes. "But I don't forget." She whispered.

I nodded as I began leaning in. Finally our lips connected. I missed the taste of her lips so much. The warmth of her body up against mines. I needed her more than ever.

"Baby.." She mumbled as she pulled away.

I looked deeply into her eyes and licked my lips.

"Hm?"

"Let's go upstairs.. I need a physical apology." Toni said as she stood up.

My body began aching for Janet as we finally made it to my room. Honestly, I wasn't completely over everything that happened, but I needed affection. Maybe if I put it behind me and try to forget about it, i'll move on.

Janet laid me onto my bed and began kissing against my neck. Her shallow breathing against me made my body tingle.

"Right there.." I mumbled as she began to kiss up against my spot.

As she continued to seduce me, thoughts ran through my head. Janet and I have been through so much and it's barely been five months. If we really wanted this to work, we needed to talk more. Communication is key.

I knew I felt something more than Janet, based off of everything that she's caused recently, my doubts were setting in. Maybe she doesn't love me like I love her, maybe she just-

"Did you hear me?" Janet said as she began undressing me.

"I'm sorry, I spaced out." I looked at her.

"Oh." She said as I was finally made bare. Her hands traced my body causing waterfalls to splurge between my legs.

"What did you say baby?" I slightly moaned.

"Shh." She began kissing down my stomach as she made her way towards my womanhood. She slowly separated my legs and began physically apologizing.

A few moments passed as I pulled away.

"It's your turn." I mumbled.

"You don't need to apologize baby." She giggled.

"I know, but you need to be punished." I rolled her over and sat onto her lap. "Close your eyes for a moment."

Janet let out a few giggles then looked at me and said: "Blindfold me baby, it's better when I don't know what to expect."
