Many years have passed since the Hundred Year War and a new avatar emerged. Korra, much to my surprise is quite the opposite of Avatar Aang. I suppose it was due to the different eras they were raised in. Many people thought Aang was too soft, while Korra is a tough nut to crack. Although their personalities are polar opposites, they both have one goal: to maintain balance and peace in this world.

Ever since the world discovered who the Avatar was, many bounties were made to end her life. Being part of the White Lotus, I was tasked with protecting Korra from the dangers of the Red Lotus and other enemies. My job was to accompany her as a guardian and mentor until she was ready to be the avatar the world needed. You see, I am a waterbender, a master at that. But I wasn't anything like Master Pakku, that strict-fun killing old man. Along with Master Katara, I taught her waterbending, healing, and the joyous feeling of fun. The lessons normally ended with a mouthful of snow from all the snowball fights and sledding.

Even though I am a master waterbender and a White Lotus member doesn't mean I can't have snowball fights right? I mean sure, I'm an adult but I can also be a child by heart too, right? Over the years, we both became good companions, like two sisters minus the brawling typical stereotypical siblings have. Doesn't mean that I don't beat her up normally during training, after all the student doesn't outmatch the teacher. But hopefully one day she will.

Her journey as the Avatar was bumpy and dangerous. Her first challenge was Amon's attempt at removing all  benders in the world, to achieve ultimate "equality" by stripping all benders of their powers, forcibly "equalizing" the world. The second, Unalaq/Vaatu as the Dark Avatar threatening to bring ten thousand years of darkness. But I know that she will stand by and stay strong to the end. However, I do not know if I will be able to follow alongside her to see the woman all I've always thought she would be. A great Avatar. During the battle with Unalaq, he flung me into one of the Spirit portals but I never landed into the physical world. Instead, I am currently suspended in darkness with a reflection of myself. Seconds became minutes, minutes became hours.  Suddenly, my body glowed a blue aura, and a forceful push threw me into another portal?

I tumbled onto solid ground but the vibe of the area was unfamiliar to my senses. I could sense five warm bodies but my body was stiff, like I had sleep paralysis. A sharp pain shocked my temples, my eyes slowly drifted off, fighting the fatigue threatening to close my eyes, but all I could see before I blacked out, is a kid dressed in black and red running towards my direction.

Can you guess who?
