You're not sure how this happened. His lips were still firm against yours and your fingers slowly made their way up the back of his neck to his hair. Teasing the strands with gentle tugs as you gasped gently against his lips. It felt good to be kissing him. After knowing him for a good 2 months this felt good.

He squeezed your hips making you moan out a bit at the sensation, which surprise you but you suppose being a grown woman who hasn't done anything in a few years has caught up to you.

I shouldn't be kissing him.

Your thoughts screamed at you the more the two of you kissed and soon you felt his tongue demanding entrance. You denied him squeezing your eyes shut.

Claire's gonna hate me.

You couldn't stop your mind from talking to you. You felt guilty, sitting here letting him touch you like this. Letting him even kiss you at the beginning. Owen tried again, his tongue slithering across your lower lip and you still denied him once more. This was frustrating him, though he liked this challenge.

I should push him away.

You argued with your self in your head as your fingers kept ranking through his hair enjoying how surprisingly soft it was, you wanted this but you didn't think you should have it.

Owen pulled away from your lips, your hands finding their way back to his shoulders as the two of you stared at one another panting heavily again. He stared at you for a while and you found your self captivated in his eyes ignoring his slow movements forward. You thought he was going to kiss you again and you anticipated it, eyes half lidded. But the kiss never came as he instead kissed your jaw with slow movements making his way to your neck watching as you tensed at his hot breath against your skin.

You couldn't help but close your eyes at such a sensation, the closer he got to your neck anyway, arms wrapping around his own neck to clutch his vest sighing pressing your back up against the back of the swivel chair. His teasing nips moved along your jaw line to meet your ear. You shuddered again feeling his breath tickling it. Owen's lips brushed against the shell of your ear, and you knew he was about to whisper something.

No,no stop him.

Shaking your head you found the strength at last to push him away your hands resting on his chest as he looked at you curiously, with a lust steadily swirling inside those eyes of his.

"Owen," you panted at first, "we shouldn't."

"Why not?" His voice was lower now, a growl almost under his tone as he leaned forward seeming like he could stare into your soul.

"It's just-" you looked away from him pressing your lips together.

I want this too bad, but I don't want to ruin anything between you and me. And Claire and I.

You sighed through your nose sadly at the thought.

"You wanted to know what my problem was all day, I'll tell you." You let out another breath seeming sad, Owen couldn't help but begin to feel concerned.

"Last night Claire and I spoke on the phone, and she got mad at me for being so close to you. She was jealous and I know she didn't mean what she said, but I was tired of her not trusting me. So in my little fit i told her maybe we shouldn't be friends and hung up. I haven't heard from her since and...I-I don't want to betray her." You finally met his concentrated gaze and you watched, the gears in his head turning to think.
