Loki's a Trickster.

Everyone's been on edge, knowing that anything can happen at any time. I've been trying to settle them down any way I can, but it's not working. We still haven't found the Tesseract, and everyone's moving their loved ones out of New York, fearing for their safety. I walk over to Thor, seeing him converse with Coulson about Jane Foster, his girlfriend, and Dr. Selvik.

"He talks about you a lot. You changed his life. You changed everything around here." Coulson explains. Dr. Selvik was heavily inspired by the God of Thunder when he first came to Earth. He now works with Jane to figure out how everything works from beyond their dimension. I would love to see her work in action, if I'm being honest.

"They were better as they were. We pretend on Asgard that we're more advanced, but we...we come here battling like bilchsnipe."

"Like what?"

"Bilchsnipe? You know; huge, scaly, big antlers. You don't have those?"

"I don't think so."

"They are repulsive, and they trample everything in their path."

"When I first came to earth, Loki's rage followed me here and your people paid the price. And now again. In my youth I courted war."

"War hasn't started yet, Your Majesty." I say quietly, placing a hand on his back. He turns to me, and suddenly Fury walks in.

"You think you can make Loki tell us where the Tesseract is?"

"I do not know. Loki's mind is far afield, it's not just power he craves, it's vengeance, upon me. There's no pain that would prize his need from him."

"A lot of guys think that, until the pain starts."

"What are you asking me to do?"

"I'm asking. What are you prepared to do?"

"Loki is a prisoner."

"Then why do I feel like he's the only person on this boat that wants to be here?"

I tense at Fury's comment. I know what's going to happen, I'm aware of the situation. Yet I can't say a word. It's frightening, really. I calm myself down.

"I'll help you." I say to Thor. "If I could be able to stop him in what he's doing, that would be good enough for me."

"Thank you, Lady Galactica. He wouldn't admit it in the slightest, but I think he's taken a liking to you."

I turn to him confused. "What do you mean?"

"He relates to you. He senses that you two are similar."

"That's exactly what he said to me."

"Well, to be honest, I once was in a situation like he is now."

"You were a villain?"

"Not by choice, Your Majesty. These powers were a curse in my eyes."

"Yet they are sufficiently useful." He places a hand on my shoulder. "You have a gift. I believe you will only use it for good."

Natasha was asked to interrogate Loki on his plan. And I asked to help her. Now, I could be doing this for the sake of Thor, and his love for his brother, but I also think I'm trying to help Loki as well. I don't really understand my feelings, at this point. This has never happened before.

We walk in, see him pace around in his cell, before coming to a stop, and turning towards us.

"There's not many people who can sneak up on me." He says. She walks forward, and I wave slightly.
