Our lives have been pretty normal since the battle in New York, Stark insisted that I live with him for the time being until I could get something on my own. He's a real charmer, and Miss Potts is a sweetheart with no end. I've got to know Jarvis a little better as well, and I have also met Happy, Tony's driver. They are super kind and having a roof over my head and hot food on my plate is a real plus. They're also great friends to lean on, and they watch over me to see if anything happens. Natasha and Clint check on me very often, and Tony likes to annoy them when they come to visit. Banner also comes sometimes, but he's probably the only normal one that I've talked to. Steve has taken his own road, which I'm proud of him for. They all deserve some sort of break.

I stare out into New York's horizon, watching clouds pass. This has become a regular thing, just waiting for something to happen. The sunrise looks beautiful from this view.

"Staring off again, Miss Galactica?" Jarvis spoke suddenly, startling me slightly.

"Jesus, Jarvis!" I laughed, "please, don't scare me like that!"

"My apologies, Mr. Stark was just wondering if you wanted some breakfast. Miss Potts made some."

"Tell him I'll be down in a minute, I'm going to get ready." I explain.

"Alright, I'll be sure to tell him." I thank him and walk over to my closet to get out of my pajamas. I look through my clothes, noticing that I only have a little selection. Maybe I should ask him if I could get some more clothes, but I wouldn't want to be a bother. I put on some leggings and a sweater, and walked over to the elevator, leading me to the kitchen.

"Kid, good morning!" Tony says cheerfully. I roll my eyes at him.

"How are you always so cheerful in the morning? You know, I was just getting my daily dose of sunshine." I said, playfully annoyed. He smirks.

"Well then, why don't you go outside for a change?"

"The view from my window is beautiful." He shrugs, and Miss Potts walks out of the kitchen with plates for us to eat.

"Let's go, children, breakfast is ready." She says, smiling. I giggle as Tony gawks at being called a child, but we all sit down and eat.

"I'm still a bit upset that you won't let me cook instead." I say, playing with some of the eggs on my plate.

"Because, you're our guest." Miss Potts answers. I look at her.

"Exactly my point." She rolls her eyes. I giggle, and look over to Tony, who's just staring at his food. I nudge his arm, bringing him back to life.

"Hey, you alright?" I ask. He nods.

"Are you sure? Doesn't seem like it." I comment. I look into his eyes, and read him as anxious.

"Is this about New York?" I ask. He looks at me in the eyes. "Tony, you know I'd be there for you when something happens. I'm right here." I whisper, rubbing his arm.

"I know, I know, but I still can't shake the feeling. We almost died in that portal." I give him a sad look.

"But we didn't." I comment.

"I will be there for you, I promised that from the beginning." I continue. He smiles at me, and it makes me smile.

"Alright, I get it, but no more reading people, got it?" I smile brightly.

"No promises on my end."

We finish breakfast, and with many complaints from the others, I wash the dishes. Once I'm done, I see Miss Potts waiting for me at the entrance of the kitchen.
