"This isn't going to be fun, you two, I hope you understand that." I explain, warning in my voice. Tony chuckles.

"Think I can't handle my own?"

"I do, but Fury can get annoying."

"I'll bet on it."

I giggle, then look around the room. The Tesseract's location is coming in soon, but I know what's coming even sooner.

'His team is coming.'

'He's going to win, don't worry though.'

'He won't forget about you.'

'The others will be fine. Your job is explaining why you're going to help the enemy in their eyes.'

I nod to him, and look at Banner.

"You'll be fine, Doc?"

"I think I can handle myself pretty well." He says, looking up at me. I smile at him.

"Call me, if anything goes wrong."

I walk out, making my way straight down to Loki's cell. It's become a pass time now, me checking up on him. No one else would do it, only for interrogations. I walk over to the glass cage, him already expecting me.

"Galactica."

"My prince."

"I assume you know what's about to happen."

"Yes, sadly you're leaving me." He smiles.

"You can come with, but that wouldn't be good for your reputation and you know that." He says, getting up from his seat and walking towards me.

"You care too much for me, my prince." I walk closer, putting my hand on the glass. He chuckles.

"Your idea of me won't change?"

"Loki, I, out of all people, can't change that. I already know what's going to happen." He looks down suddenly.

"I just hope you don't forget about me." I add. He looks up from the ground and places his hand opposite mine.

"How could I? A hero, helping both sides of the story? It's fascinating."

"Everyone is someone to look after. Especially in my eyes." He looks at our hands, sliding his hand down the glass then back to his side. I frown, walking even closer to him.

"You trust me, right?"

He looks up to me again. In all his years, he's never had someone take his side like this. He's had his mother, yes, but I don't judge him for mistakes. And he knows that's all I've witnessed from him so far.

"Should I trust you?" He says, placing his hand back on the glass hesitantly. I smile gently.

"Only if you think it's the right call. I sacrifice a lot for a definite ending, I hope you understand that." I explain. He nods.

I look over at our hands, summoning a portal and pushing my hand through it, interlocking my fingers with his. His eyes widen, but he doesn't pull away, making me smile. He looks back up at me.

"I won't let anything bad happen to you."

"Why... why are you telling me this?"

"Because you need someone to trust other than yourself."

I pull my hand away gently, closing the portal and walking over to the door of the cell. Loki walks over as well, standing in front of it. I open the cell door quickly, watching the door open as he walks out of the cell. I grab both of his hands and pull him over to the control panel.
