Author's Notes | A very intense process of self-adaptation when the loss that seems to simple to the ingenuous eyes may have a ton of meanings into a woman's life. To lose a breast may be something very traumatic to a woman, affecting not only her physical appearance but also her judgments about herself. Some will pass through this easily. Some will feel themselves less women because of the procedure. Some will think a tattoo is enough to solve the self-esteem problem. Some will never recover their self-confidence and security to take their clothes off in front of anybody. Less attractive, mutilated... Words can hurt their minds and hearts all the time and even thou sometimes nobody tells them these words, their own thoughts can be tricky and cruel.
To all the women who suffer from this constant fight inside and against themselves, my support, my shout out, my words for you to combat the bad words inside your mind: You're beautiful, you're gorgeous, you're sexy, you're a woman, a beautiful woman, a lovely and perfect woman! Don't let anyone tell you differently. Not even yourself.
