Author's Notes | I think I know who you are, dear anon! Please, feel free to correct me if I'm explaining wrong, but just for the other readers to understand, a "mate" to a werewolf is something kinda like our twin souls. But for them, things are pretty more intense. They have a really deepest connection between each other, can feel each other and after they're together, their relationship is so intimate that if one of the partners dies, the other will not last long. Their lives are kinda bonded one to another and I have to say this is a pretty beautiful aspect of this particular sight of the werewolves legend that I like very much! Thank you for this request and sorry for taking so long!

- would need time for thinking about what he just discovered and absorb the new information he has about his beloved.
- sits alone somewhere on the beach to listen to the sea waves and think.
- does not get up when she sits beside him.
-"What more secrets do you hide from me?"
- makes clear what's bothering him is the secret kept and not anything else and to restore their relationship since he is sure he loves her and she is the one, he demands her to tell him everything and from now on, "no more secrets".

Ubbe

- scared at the first moment, takes some distance from her not allowing her to touch him.
- however, curiosity is his second name.
- ends up searching for her on the woods, after some few days.
- "What does it means? What does it change between us?"
- wants to learn everything he can about what she is and how their children will be...

Hvitserk

- already heard about her kind because of Ivar's stories, but doesn't understand very well what she is.
- doesn't fear her, but also doesn't stay the same, seeming confused and disoriented with the new information.
- "How can we be mates if we aren't the same kind?"
- slowly lets her approach.
- takes a time to understand the mates thing but becomes a proud partner after everything is clear for him

Sigurd

- totally rejects at the first impressions even sending her away harshly.
- "Enough of magic and creatures around me!"
- misses her like hell.
- understands the mate's bond by the pain he can feel in his heart when she's not around.
- searches for her to apologize and tries to understand what she is under the idea that they were made to each other.

Ivar

- knows everything the legends tell about what she is from Floki's classes.
- immediately gets impressed and even horny to see how strongly she fights for him
- accepts her and embraces her when she comes to him, holding her against his chest.
- "The gods had taken my legs, but they blessed me with you"
- embraces the position of her mate and from this time on, she goes wherever he goes, ALWAYS by his side.
