"Taehyung won't be able to walk anymore.."

"What?" Taehyung's voice was groggy, raspy, seemingly waking up from resting. The doctor seemed to have miss these signs due to Taehyung's open eyes when he sleeps, so he didn't know the boy had been awake.

Jungkook and Jimin both startled turned to Taehyung, eyes wide in shock before Jimin tearing up again.

But Taehyung couldn't look at his other members, instead he stared at the doctor. Hoping the doctor had misread something or he had misheard it.

That he didn't just hear the worst news of his life.

"No...you're no...this can't be-" taehyung choked out a sob. The sadness he felt gripped him by the throat, made his lungs squeeze and his hands begin to tremble.

Jimin threw himself around Taehyung as his eyes fell unto the doctor once again.

"Please...please check again that can't be true right? He's healthy and young please just..." Jimin sobbed as tears painfully fell, a miracle that he had more tears to cry.

"I'm sorry, but the results are here. His L1 and L2 spinal nerve were both severed in the crash rendering them unable to send nerves down below his waist. We have done spinal surgeries to try to save but they were unsuccessful."

"But I don't understand...the car was in front how did...how was my back.."

"You crashed in an intersection. When the  car hit you from the front it sent the car spiraling backwards where another car smashed you from the back. The impact was unequally distributed which led to most of the car's impact slamming onto your side."

"Was someone..." Taehyung breath was shallow as he remembered.

"Hyung oh Jin hyung is he? Is he okay?" Taehyung scrambled before the lack of sensations in his legs brought him back.

"Yes, he is."

Taehyung breathed out in relief. At least someone was okay.

"Do you feel any discomfort," the doctor got closer as his eyes began to check all the machines Taehyung has never seen in his life connected to him. A shiver rushed down his spine but it felt weird.

It had completely stopped right by his waist and the reality set in. It felt like he was in that car as the strong force sent him reeling back and he let out a sharp gasp.

"Im...am I really bound to a wheelchair now?"

"Yes...I'm sorry.." The doctor's eyes filled with pity as he stared at Taehyung who looked down. Tears flowed freely as he began to shake.

Reading the room the doctor stood up and walked away leaving the 3 boys to cry at the dreadful situation.

Jungkook wrapped his arms tightly around his hyung's body. Hoping that his hug would comfort but he knew it wouldn't be enough.

Taehyung lost not just his ability to walk but...what kind of idol couldn't dance?
What about his dream?

Jungkook shoved his worried deep inside. No, right now was about Taehyung.
Just for now he could give his Hyung and try to make him forget the pain to soon come.
