"New York! We're finally in New York!" I step out of the bus "hello beautiful ladies" I bow and walk past them. While they high-key freak out because of Corbyn who is behind me.
"What's got you so hyped on New York?" Corbyn asks meeting my pace into the venue.
"Well Sydney, my sister" I pause and he nods for me to continue "she is going to school here, so I'm going to go see her!" I spin around entering the building and swinging the door open.
Soon enough Jonah and Zach come in. Then Jon and Jack, finally Daniel and Zack.
"Have you told Jon yet?" Corbyn asks me
"No" I mumble "do I have to you?" I ask and he nods his head. So I make my way over to Jon "can I go see my sister?"
"Is she here?" He asks
"Nah, I was going to uber to her school"
"Mhm, yeah sure just get back here at 7" he says
"Yay! Adios amigos!" I wave at them and open uber with my phone stepping outside. "Taxi would work" I smile and close out the uber app and make my way over to the pulled over taxi.
"Thank you very much" I pay the driver and step out into the huge campus my sister is attending. "Let's hope I don't get lost" I breathe out and begin my journey a bit around campus to find her location.
She knows I'm coming but she didn't know it was today. She thought around midnight tonight after the guys finished their concert.
"Hey are you lost?" A girl my age asks
"Kinda? I'm surprising my older sister and I can't find where her classroom would be" I show her my phone
"Ohhh, I just came from that general area. I can lead you there if you want" she offers
"That's would be great!"
I follow the girl, Jenna making a bit of small talk. I thank her as she walks out of the building and I walk down a hall looking at the labels of numbers "B223, B225, B227, B229"
"how about the other way?" I turn around and start going through the even numbers "aha B228!" I wait for her class to end not sending her any notification. I watch as a crowd of people leave the class and "Sydney!" I shout and tackle her into a hug.
"Y/n!" She says in the same energy and gives me a tight hug "I missed you so much" she says in her regular voice
"I missed you too" I smile and pull out of the hug "let's go get lunch" we laugh and go downstairs out the building and into another one to a small cafe.
"So how are you liking New York?" Sydney asks
"It's very different from LA, and I was honestly expecting there to be-
"Yelling and just obnoxious noise?" Syd finishes "that's just a stereotype, kinda" she laughs "night life is way different than the day time"
"Mhm, how many times have you gotten drunk?"
"Y/n!"
"What? I would like to know" I defend my curiosity
"I wouldn't say I've gotten drunk maybe I was almost there the night I actually turned 21, but I have school and would rather focus on that" she explains "how about you, fallen for any of the boys who your constantly around?"
"No they're just friends" I look at her "we're just friends" I defend myself "you know, we really grown into our own selves"
"Yeah?" Syd says standing up and I follow.
"Yeah, like I mean I always loved to dance and you always wanted to write but you actually have friends who are girls while I have Mariah and you if that counts. Every other person I hang out with is male" I laugh
"Yeah you're more what's the word" she thinks for a bit "childish, energetic, wild? While I'm more-"
"The quiet type who likes to have a small circle of friends? Because I still think I'm like that"
"Yes you are, in a way" she shrugs "you just branch out a bit more but yet selective, not saying you have deep conversations with them you just are more talkative" she explains
"Mhm, I guess but when I have redbull otherwise-"
"Oh trust me I know" she laughs "I'll be in LA this summer, for July" Syd says
"Of course, I'll be there too" I smile "I wonder what the beach house is like" I sigh "must be really different"
"Yeah, but for now let's enjoy your time in New York! What time do you have to be back?" Syd asks
"7" I answer "let's go to the club!"
"No, one your underage and two it's not even the right time" she laughs
"Wouldn't it be fun though? Just for like 20 minutes?" I ask as we make our way off campus
"No, y/n the answer is no"
"Fine, I'll go clubbing a different time" I shrug and burst out into laughter from Syd's reaction.
"Girl, I actually thought you had a way" Syd laughs
"Oh trust me, I will soon" I promise
"Okay, tell me how that goes then" she laughs and we cross a street.
"So where are we actually headed?" I ask curiously
"Going back to my dorm to drop off my journals then we'll walk around somewhere" Sydney explains
"Got it, do you have roommates?"
"Yes"
"Oooo, tell me about them"
"Okay, there is another girl and two guys" she starts
I playfully gasp "two guys?!"
"Yes, y/n two guys" she continues "they are pretty chill, Cody likes to keep to himself he's more shy? He just takes a bit to talk with. Mason, he reminds me of you in a way, very outgoing but also chill" she says "I wonder what you will be like in college? If you did go"
"I'd only go to party" I laugh
"Yeah, I could've guessed. Mary, the girl she is very smart we always help each other on work and she plays by the rules inside voice and outside, except when she's in a bar. You can hear that girl from outside, I swear" she laughs
"Have a crush on any of them?" I ask and she blushes I playfully gasp again before asking "ooo, tell me. Tell me about this crush"
